The Ranger Purge Part 1

The day had started like any other as the rangers would go on with their semi normal lives they would have no idea what was about to happen.

The small town of reef side had been known as the home of the DT rangers for a few months now. Times had been tough but they had always pulled through in the end. Today though Messogog would send his greatest threat to deal with the power rangers. As the clock struck noon a destructive blast of energy would strike the cyber café blowing the teen hang out and whoever had been inside up in one blast. As the dust settled several monsters would come from the ruins listening to the sounds that would be the death of many humans they stuck together.

One a white dino thunder ranger clone who stood next to Messogog his red visor separating him from Trent. In his hand he held the drago sword in one hand. Having been recreated to deal with the dino thunder rangers he laughed coldly at the sounds and stepped over a crawling human who begged for help but the clone would ignore him and keep walking.

Elsa was the next one as she stood next to the clone she was already battle ready. Not bothering to pretend who she was anymore she looked around and smirked come out rangers or are you COWARDS? she yelled as she looked around the area and raised her hand as near thirty five foot soldiers would appear and ran into the city causing destruction.

Zeltrax would also show up as he stared ahead he led four monsters with him as they stood waiting for the rangers knowing they would have to come sometime.

Hayley played with a ball , just a small bouncing ball, out of boredom with a sigh. Drama had been taken over by reality and reality faded for more drama. Life wasn't fun that way anymore. Hayley looked around to see if anything was happening and faced some large creature right in front of her. It was screeching and some lady figure called out the rangers.

Great. One big beasty and a woman with attitude. If today was no hell, i sure wouldn't want to know what it would be else. hayley growled as she hid inside an alley to morph and get back to protect the citizens. I'm no fairy but your wish is granted, here i am. she said swallowing a big lump behind her helmet.

Yes what she did was stupid, and insane and whatever else it could be. Hayley made her way over to the soldiers, kicking and hitting them as she tried to prevent more destruction. Hayley had no idea what to do, and one bigger problem, she didn't know if they knew she wasn't Kimberly.

As faint as it was, the pulse of purest loathing came, the loathing seemed to come directly from a point some three yards above the carnage, apparently hanging on tightly to the feet of a small animal with a ring around its belly, its ears flaping as it tried to maintain the altitude it was at, slowly coming in to land next to the other person present. "Looks like I didn't get that memo today, now a good place was reduced to rubble." Ryuusei Von Dragmire said, turning to glare vehemently ar the group responsible for destroying the cyber cafe.

"It looks like I'll be having one less headache to put up with, seeing as the big boys are in town, and me without my Boone's Farm. I swear that the whole lot of you villains will pay when word gets to the Ginnungagap about this debacle!" Ryuusei added, morphing into his DT Ranger mode, pure venom in his voice with every word he spoke as he stared down the enemies in front of him.

Needless to say, With the Cyber Cafe in ruins and Mesogog's cronies standing on the wreakage, Ryuusei had become extremely ticked off and was now itching to draw first blood, his impulses targeting the more formidible members of the group -Namely Elsa and Zeltrax- for which he immediately drew the Tusk Blades out, his teeth bared inside his helmet, his reflexes poised, ready to strike.

Caitlyn was visiting this place Reefside, a place she did not travel too often. She walked around, studying the place. She had a feeling something was going to go down but she didn’t know what it was really. She watched as a bright red-head played with a ball, and she smiled, she seemed seemingly bored, like her, before she could go up and introduce herself, a scream called. “Dang,” she muttered, looking around her, found an empty place, hidden away near the forest and changed to her ranger form. A new person completely took over her when she did this.

She ran to the a ranger that had shown up. “Need a hand?” the Blue Irish ranger ask, in an slight accent. She began to fight with the ranger, trying to think of a quick way to defeat them.

She noticed another ranger had appeared to! She began fighting, but something, whatever it was had caught her off gaurd, and she got thrown backwards into another.

Amy was frustrated.

She really was.

A few days back in Reefside and she was already back on edge. She didn't know why, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Very wrong. It wasn't like she had any enemies here...or friends...or anyone to worry about come to think of it. She left that ranger and the other guy back in Angel Grove (she thought it was best to just clear out after encountering those two). She then tried to shrug it off. Why should she worry? It didn't involve her after all (or at least she didn't think it did)..no one even knew about her. So why worry? But as she would soon find out, it was going to involve her. Whether she knew it or not. And whether she liked it or not.

The explosion which was the Cybercafe being destroyed made her jump . 'Whoa what was that?' she thought and that sudden sense of foreboding came crashing into the front of her mind again. Something was wrong. Something was wrong. Something was wrong. She got closer and closer and when she heard the declaration (that was to say someone calling out for the rangers)--she quickly skittered into the closest alleyway. She took another peek and her head tilted to the side in curiosity. There was a woman and a metal looking man, a white ranger and several larger monster...not to mention to many soldiers....and they were all next to the destroyed building.

Then there was a couple of other rangers there. A pink ranger and a couple of blue rangers it appeared. She was now faced with a choice. Fight the rangers or fight the bad guys. The rangers were her enemy...the ones who killed her family. The ones she was out for. But--these weren't the rangers she was looking for. These weren't the SPD rangers. And the building had people in it. Not that she cared. The people were people. They could take care of themselves. Hmmm but they did seem like they could use help. She shook her head. Nope. She wasn't getting into this. She didn't have a beef with them--any of them. She wasn't about to go sticking her nose into their affairs.

But--she couldn't bring herself to walk away. To just walk away without doing anything....at all. She winced softly as she reached up to run the back of her neck. A sharp stinging sensation had her softly wincing but she quickly shook if off. She knew that she would probably get into it with Broodwing or something (he was always telling her to lay low, lay low, blah, blah, blah) but---she couldn't resist. She just couldn't resist getting into the action. Whether it was for the better or for the worse... "SPD Emergency." she whispered as she morphed and then taking a deep and calming breath, she showed herself.

And was immediately grabbed by a foot soldier (who had tried grabbing her arm--tsk, tsk...foolish being) and Amy turned and went on the attack, "I don't think so." she said as she rammed the creep in the chest with her tazer. The sparks of electricity were clearly visible as the voltage went through the thing's body and electrocuted him. The creep fell off to the side not moving. That was one down. Then her eyes narrowed as she was confronted by the white ranger. His sword was drawn and he was in a fighting stance. He was ready to attack. She snorted--he wanted to mess with her? Fine. That was fine with her. He just better know that he wasn't dealing with a push over. She withdrew her saber and ducked down into a defensive stance...

She was ready to attack as well...bring it on.

She had planned to go out and spend the day with Hayley when she closed the shop. As she turned the corner to the café when she saw the lightning and then a bang. A sickening feeling coming to her stomach she rushed around the corner and what she saw made her heart sink “Hayley!” she said tears running down her face as she saw the enemy and the rangers she swallowed and reached behind her back and drew the morpher pink ranger power incased in her suit she drew her bow and fired.

At least some of the others were there that was what mattered they would be able to win this or at least she hoped maybe Hayley would be okay she could only pray as she drew her blaster she fired at mesogog and saw the pink dino thunder ranger someone she had given the gem to herself instead of taking the new powers. The girl was still wet behind the ears in a sense as she looked at the ranger she nodded “need a hand?” she asked after a few moments.

Being knocked back she was slammed to the ground and let out a small groan of pain as she swallowed the lump in her throat and got up as Mesogog swung at her she barely ducked out of the way and knocked him back the experience showing in her form as she got into a fighting stance wishing she could get ahold of Tommy at that moment.

Kelsey had been off work and heading out when she had heard the bang of the lightning and everything shattered around them. As she gasped in pain she was buried under the rubble she coughed and slowly dug herself out of it and then she looked around and started to dig through it her eyes sad as she was able to hear the woman’s pain as she dragged her gently out of it after unburying her slowly as she heard voices from outside and what made her heart sink was when she saw who had done this.

Mesogog and his cronies she thought as she saw her mother come to the scene and sighed Hayley…I have to go help she touched her morpher which now had a link to the command center and had Alpha take Hayley to get help, slowly she stood and found herself sore all over she should have gone with Hayley but she was needed here.

“Dino thunder power up” came the calm voice as she walked from the rubble morphed her eyes on the fight she drew her blade and knocked back Zeltrix as the two began to fight. After all this time she could handle herself now as she pressed the communication Hayley is down….cafe destroyed we are in trouble” she said as she locked blades with zeltrax.

Elza vs Ryu

Ah so they had all come to the party that was good and now they would all die. As Elza walked down the others were behind her a smirk on her face as she sent the foot soldiers out first but they had faded quickly due to the morphed rangers she nodded Get them came a calm voice as she watched the others scatter and smiled coldly and walked down the others and noticed that someone was eyeing her do you want a part of me? she asked casually her voice calm as she stared ahead at the one who had been eyeing her.

Drawing her blade she stared at him and tilted her head to the side and moved forward Shall we dance little boy she asked him in a casual voice as if she was talking to a child which she believed she was at that point. perhaps if you beg I will make sure your death is slow and painless she offered to him her voice cruel and cold as she charged at him got ready for the long fight that was coming up ahead…the rangers would die by her hand.

Hayley vs. The Lion Monster
The lion monster turned his eyes onto Hayley and smiled licking his lips and letting out a roar shattering the windows for a block he laughed as he rushed towards the pink dino thunder ranger ready to take her to the ground. He was a bit of an out of control monster at that moment as he started to laugh I can smell your fear girl but that’s to be understandable I enjoy it he told her in a harsh and cold voice as he stepped forward and smiled my name is Morpheus and you will pay in the end.

As he walked towards her he kept his eyes on her and smiled. He had no fear of her when she was afraid herself at that moment. Tilting his head to the side he drew a blade and went in to attack. One thing was clear he would be a hard one to fight as in the end he knew she was afraid and he would use that to his own advantage to end her life. Moving with quick speed he started to bring down his sword aimed at her. This was almost to easy.

Zeltrax vs Caitlin

He was almost disappointed that Tommy had not shown up but many of the others had and they would have to be just as good. Drawing his sword he watched waited and then saw someone that caught his eye a girl that wore blue and that made a smirk come to him as he stepped down towards her and sent a wave of dark energy at her. Yes he would enjoy spilling a foolish teenagers blood and when he did it would be on the good doctors hands when he realized he had just sat around when the others had fallen yes today was a good day to kill.

He moved with great speed and attacked her his blade coming down towards her looking to draw quick first blood before she could even morph. These teens were talented and that was enough to bother him a bit no he would end her before she ever got the chance to win this fight. “you are mine little girl beg and I may make this quick” he told her and laughed softly at her and attacked again looking to strike the Irish ranger down and end this battle.

Fire monster vs. Amelia
The fire monster watched with interest as the others went off instead he stayed away for a few moments as he looked for his pray. That was when a girl morphed and became a purple ranger and he pointed his finger at her and sent a blast of fire at her. That would be his claim that she was his to handle and that overjoyed him. He had hoped for some entertainment and now he would have it when he felt her blood going down the streets as he walked towards her he smiled come dear we shall dance and only one will walk away he told her.

It had been to long since he had fought and now those years that he had sat around and done nothing were going to burn away in a matter of moments if he had his way at least. A small chuckle coming to his lips as he brushed the flames away and sent them flying at her. Yes he would enjoy this even if she begged he would make her suffer before he would end her they would all suffer before they would rule the world weather they liked it or not the humans time was over.

Sending blasts of flames at the purple spd ranger he laughed evilly and enjoyed it. The thrill of battle would be his and his alone weather she wanted it or not the plan was working to separate the rangers where they would not be able to work together…yes everything was good he thought as he got ready to clash with Amelia an evil snarl coming from the monster as he attacked…the fight was on one way or another someone would lose.

(I know I left out two chars but I play them and will post theirs later PLEASE keep the brackets I gave for the moment and if others join I will put them together so we do not get confused Thank you. Leah)

Hayley Watched other rangers come and a relieve came from her side. also she noticed kimberly and more hope came into her mind. a voice from behind her unable to gave her an answer she swallowed again turning around seeing a huge lion monster.

Her eyes grew yet she stayed where she was. I'm not scared, i was only thinking how awful you smell.. ever heard of a bath? she said and grabbed her sword giving him a hidden smile.

I'm hayley, but let''s skip introductions and get to the point shall we? she chuckled and blocked his attack with her own sword pushing her foot inside his stomach jumping back as she was quiet surprised how easy that was.

Hayley grabbed an arrow on the floor from kimberly and as soon as the guy came she pushed it into his knee , rolling away from his blade landing on her back away from him. This wouldn''t hold him off for long, but she hoped he would at least see she was not some child.

Caitlin turned as one of the demon monsters turned to face directly at her. “Great…” she muttered under her breath. Really just a week or so ago she had just got done fighting one with another ranger and now this? *I’m staying in Ireland after this* she thought to herself standing her ground. This place was just getting ridiculous! She watched him, ready to fight, despite what she thought. It was then before she could think, she got flown backwards and just about hit a tree.

She felt a sharp pain run up her spine. So she didn’t hit the tree, oh no, she hit a sharp rock instead. “Yep defiantly staying home next time,” she muttered slowly getting up. It hurt like heck. “All right, I’m done playing nice!” She ducked away from him, just in time to see his blade coming down towards her.

She quickly morphed into her blue ranger form drawing her sword. Her back still hurt, but she tried not letting it show or affect her. “Who are you calling little? Or are you just scared you’re going to be beat by a girl?” she shot back, knowing exactly what she was doing and saying. Let us just say it played well to be smart.

Amelia's eyes narrowed as she stared the white ranger down. The other simply stood there...and was probably staring right back at her. Her fingers curled up around the handle of her saber. Oh she was ready. She was more then ready to face this guy. And ready to attack him. And of course ready to take him down. The two of them stood there and Amelia's muscles tensed as she waited--waited for the enemy to attack and for this fight to get started.

Though never in a million years would she have expected what came next. The flames the other monster gave off blindsided her and Amy gave a loud and surprised yelp as she was literally blown off of her feet. She grunted as the back of her head hit some of the cafe rubble with a rather hefty 'thud'. "Oh what was that?! Amy groaned as she shook her head softly. The blow to her head had left her dazed. Everything was swimming around and was that stars she was seeing? Ohh not to mention the back of her head hurt something fierce right now. She reached back to rub the spot and winced. Oh yeah--that one was going to leave a mark. Oh this bad. Definitely a bad spot to be in. Specially with a monster who was trying to cook you.

Amy soon got to her feet though--wincing softly as she felt a pain in her foot now. She mentally groaned. Oh no. Not her foot too. not now. Remember--it had only been less then a week since the encounter with Kevin, the red ranger, at the beach and the fight with those buggy eyed freaks (whose names escaped her at the moment). Her ankle had been badly twisted and it was still healing. And now this had to happened. Just her luck.

Speaking of luck...Amy gave a small gasp as she looked around for the other ranger (she cringed at the thought of having to face both of them by herself). He was gone! She couldn't see him anywhere. She shrugged, 'Huh musta had bigger fish to fry as it were. Not that I care mind you' she thought with a mental sigh. Just one on one. She could handle this now. Totally. Though she didn't have much time to come up with any plans. The monster's flames were twirling and swirling as they came flying towards her body again. Right...time to get down to business.

Amy leapt from side to side, dodging most of the fire the other sent towards her. Save for one that was. She winced as the fire caught her in the arm. The burning sensation sent a searing pain up and down her left arm. Amy growled lowly. It got her again. Dude this thing was relentless! It really wanted to see her bleed didn't it?! Huh well it wanted a fight. Then it was going to get it. She could be relentless and ferocious too. Thing thing wasn't going to get the best of her! Oh a dance....you shouldn't have." she retorted--sarcasm positively dripping off of every word she had said and an equally sarcastic smirk on her lips, "Tri Saber! Double Katana Mode!" the single blade soon changed into a dual bladed weapon with a handle in the middle and the long, slender blades on either end.

Amy was going to win this. She knew she could handle this creep and everything he could throw at her. She was confident almost. to the point of arrogance at her skills. But she was just like that. He took her by surprise once, but not again! She merely nodded at his other words as he spoke them, "Your right. Only one will walk away. Me!" she spat out as she charged towards the fiery foe, her weapon at hand and a fierce determination within her body. She could win this. Absolutely. She had to. There was no failing here. That was not an option!

A gold lightening bolt-like streak could be seen falling from the sky at incredible speed, round Mach 06 (2,041.74 m/s; 6,698.62205 ft/s; 4,567.2423 mph; 7,350.264 kph). Once this lightning bolt strikes the ground a 5 foot (1.524 meters) wide, and 1 foot (0.3048 meters) crater is made at the impact site and earthquake-like tremors can be felt throughout the immediate area.

Once the smoke clears, Achilles could be seen in his morphed and armored form surveying everything around him.

Achilles ran behind some cover, an SUV that happened to be parked nearby, demorphed, let two flashbang grenades, followed by a smoke grenade fall and then detonate in the middle of the bad guy foot soldiers and opened up in the assembled group of foot soldiers with his HK417 SOP MOD III in their hampered state.

"Achilles is here to answer the call of arms."

Achilles looked at the other rangers and realized he didn't know them. He didn't even see any of the ones he knew ABOUT.

(OOC: The normal effect on human beings are as follows. M84 Stun grenade. The flash of light momentarily activates all light sensitive cells in the eye, making vision impossible for approximately five seconds until the eye restores itself to its normal, unstimulated state. The loud blast produced by the grenade adds to its incapacitating properties by disturbing the fluid in the ear, causing almost complete deafness for 3 seconds and disorientation and loss of balance for about 7 seconds. The effects are the same for all other natural creatures of Earth in the kingdom of animals.

Decided for yourself how it effects your character. Humans with proper hearing/vision protection would be almost unaffected and who the heck knows how magical creatures would fare)

Ryuusei let out a bark of laughter almost as raucos as the grenades that went off. "You are obviously in over your head, and that is what will be marked by my anger." Ryuusei said as he held his position, and with a sudden glance at the newcomer to the fracas. he gave a derisive laugh that made the hairs on any civilian stand on end.

"A dance in the Vampire Bund... But in this case, I will tell you that I won't go down that easily. I'm nothing like the other rangers, and you will learn that first hand." Ryuusei said as Elsa charged at him, which turned out to be true, he was unique from the other rangers in the fact that he had a vast store of untapped potential, the power that was sealed off by Zordon was that potential, and it was his lynchpin as he mad a sudden violent roundhouse kick to try to send Elsa flying, this kick was also slightly stronger in power thanks to the metal infusions in his clothing, and the bolt weight secure on the left leg. If Elsa blocked it, her sword would be snapped by the force of the blow meant for the side of her head, and it would be the least of his worries right now as he carried the Tusk Blades to block her weapon strikes and land blows of his own. "Do try to keep me and my cheagle entertaind lady, for the one beging for demise to come is YOU!"

Elsa vs. Ryu
The boy was quick as he tried to attack her she rolled out of the way quickly slashing along his side leaving a gash although she had not pierced anything of damage as she turned quickly. She had been trained and it showed as she moved with fluid motion at battle she was not the best fighter but she was close enough where she didn’t have to worry about it even now she had dealt with the rangers more than she would have liked to even now she remembered those few days when she had been free but in the end she couldn’t do anything about it her masters control wrapped to tightly around her.

As she turned she attacked again not wanting to give him a chance to move to attack. No she would keep him on the defensive either he would wear out or make a mistake that much she was sure of as she slashed down at him with her sword sending dark energy at him at that moment the fight would be quick and hopefully painless for her at least…a small pang going through her head of pain as she suddenly seemed to pause md battle for the briefest of moments before she went to attack…she wouldn’t let them get to her.

Hayley vs. the Lion monster

The insult seemed to only made him more angry as the two fought he ducked her arrow that she would send at him and tackled the girl to the ground on the way down he growled and slashed towards her the claws digging into the pink rangers uniform as he roared. Yes this was what he had been waiting on and he enjoyed the thrill of the battle as he grabbed her bow and arrow he leapt away from her and stood there and took aim behind her his eyes on the pink ranger.

They had all wanted to do as much damage as possible even they knew the bugs would somehow survive and then have to be stamped out one by one but this day had been a long time coming and he would enjoy it as he watched her he backed away his eyes calm as he aimed at the pink ranger as soon as she stood he fired the arrow straight at her aiming for the pink rangers hart a death blow.

Cait vs zeltrax
So this little brat wanted to mock him she would pay as he turned towards her he attacked again as soon as the morph was done he was on her the blade ready to take her down. The ranges had at times been way to much trouble and now he would make sure that they would pay with their lives right before he would crush them under his sword laughing calmly dark energy formed in his blade and he sent towards her. He was not in the mood to play games with them no instead he would make sure that each one knew who had killed them before they hit the ground.

Everything about her was unsure he could even hear her as she said that she wished that she was home which made him chuckle. Yes maybe she should have stayed home and then they would have stayed alive a few more days until they would hunt her down yes you should have stayed home but at least you should be glad that your death will be quick but very painful power ranger he said coldly his eyes on her as he slowly walked towards her.

Amelia vs. the clone

The clone never spoke to her again as the two stared each other down it would be a nice battle. He had been itching to get out and fight ever since he had lost the battle against his clone. The one that had been allowed to live when he had been sent back to the pit. No this time would be different even when the range dared to step up one quick look around had shown that the clone was nowhere to be found and shook his head his eyes narrowing under the helmet as he took a breath and charged the energy arrows and sent them at her and then followed behind them at great speed ready to strike her down.

It felt good to be back in battle where he could be of use now as he stared her down as he charged he chuckled show me what you have little ranger as she charged he held the weapon at his side and took a breath and attacked the saber aimed at her he would try and end this slowly where she would suffer and see what would happen next….yes it felt good to be back in battle where he belonged as the two clashed blades at each other…

As Achilles appeared most of the enemies were unharmed and some even laughed at his attempt that though was inventive they were unharmed. Had it caused surprise somewhat but in the end that’s all it had done a moment later the fighting continued that had been struck out among everyone else in the battle with renewed anger they would go after him when the battles were over with who they were at now.

A moment later a 2nd crash hit the ground and a monster appeared he was decked out monster that was covered in amour but also had weapons that would put the man to shame and chuckled come on little boy it’s time to play he said his voice sounding mechanical in many ways one of the few monsters that were made to be completely metal. He would be able to stop Achilles in many ways a true challenge to the man that had just appeared.

The missile mount came up and fired at the ranger several missiles at once launching from various parts of his body. A chuckle coming from the monster as he moved with lightning speed and struck out towards him wanting to bring him to his knees.
