Wanting to get away from her home, Caitlyn made her away….well away. She made her way somehow to Turtle Grove. It was defenitly someplace that was different then what she was use to but that did not bother her one little bit. As she walked to the park, images flashed through her mind, ones she did not remember even having. Were they supposed to be lost memories of that day she didn’t know? Everything from that day to now seemed to have froze like her life. She shook her head and sighed. She continued to walk to find a quiet spot where she could think. Sitting, and as Cat sat back and closing her eyes taking in the sun. She shook her golden amber brown hair not wanting to remember anything but this moment.
Nothing was going to change after that moment of her becoming a ranger. Opening her eyes, she did not want to think of that day. She thought about home, or the home where she was born at. Cat could not remember at all. After all, she was only about two when she left the Americas. It was moving here that is when things started to change. College. That is where she should be. Maybe someday, but maybe not this year, at least high school was in the past, and now that she just turned 20, she smiled at the fact that her parents could no longer treat her as a child.
Trying to get her mind off the past, Caitlyn pulled out a book and stuck her head in it. She loved the freedom she got when she read, because it would take her to another world that was not hers, that would leave her completely at piece.

Today was a special day, Vince had teleported himself from the command center to Turtle cove's city park because he was now on a searching mission. One of the Gaelic rangers, the new Irish team had come to this city for a reason unknown to Vince. He just knew that it would be polite to come and greet her and try to be friends with her. Vince just strolled through the park in a white t-shirt and gray basket ball shorts and his black and white converse with his silver Dr.who pocket watch around his neck that his dead parents had given him around his neck.
As he walked he pulled out a picture of the girl with her named written on the back of it. He got the picture from the ranger database which had info on every ranger. That was one of the benefits of living in the command center. He had all the info he needed. As he walked around he heard a street band playing so he began to dance as he walked. As he danced however he spotted her while almost walking right past her. She was reading a book. She looked to be a full grown adult. He knelt down and slowly looked at her and tapped the top of her book.
"Good day miss. My names Vince Ryder. I know you don't know me but we are in the same line of work but in different groups. A very colorful line of work."
He said as he sat down next to her and held his knees close to his chest with a smile.
"I know your not from around here. Your on that new team in Ireland right? I was wondering if you wanted to get to know one another? Who knows we might work together a lot."

Caitlyn, had curled up, sitting up against a tree. She was wearing short shorts, with light blue converse, with bright blue shoelaces. Her hair, rested lightly on her shoulders, until she could feel the warmth of the sun hitting the back of her neck. With that result, she pulled her hair off to a low side braid, and taking off her light blue runners jacket, sitting on top of it, reveling a light grayish blue t-shirt. Stretching, she continued to go back to her book, despite she had read it hundreds of times and could recite it from memory; of the joys of having a photographic memory.
All of a sudden, she felt as if something was coming. No threat or anything, but after looking around, and seeing no one she shrugged and went back to her book. It was not to soon though, however, that about ten minutes later, someone had tapped the top of her book, causing her to look up. This was a first, really, that anyone ever approached her when not back in Durbin.
“Hello…” she began slowly, her slight Irish accent sticking ever so little out. Cat quickly looked around again, after a minute as his words crossed her. Line of colorful work? Was he a ranger? He used play of words, that told her he was. “Caitlyn Alden…” she added. This had to be the first conversation she had going for her, since she could remember, when she last lived here when she was two.
“Okay,” she replied slowly and lightly, “I use to be from around here…but your right.” she added, muttering the first part. She sighed silently, as she did not really want to talk ranger business or anything, which is why she was here wanting to relax from it. She had not even told Louis or even her sister, well actually she had not told anyone she wanted to be a ranger…give or take the fact she tried to run from it the first time she found out…

Vince looked the woman, now known to him as Caitlyn over. She looked nice and gentle to him. Her reaction to his ranger talk however seemed to be scarce. Vince figured she didn't want to speak of her ranger life. Vince had read in the database about a few rangers that didn't even want to be rangers at all. It was a hard life that was true but Vince himself wouldn't give it up for anything. To be respectful he wouldn't bring being a ranger into their conversation.
"So, what are you reading? Any action? What's Ireland like? I would like to know about you. I just thought, both of us being newbies so to speak we should maybe be friends."
Vince thought the girl might be hesitant looking a bit shy from far off. He wanted to break the ice so he thought of some things he could tell about himself.
"I myself Like books too. I like action books and science fiction and mysteries and sometimes romance. I'm a dancer and one day I wanna be a famous singer. I'm an orphan..."
Vince then went quiet for a moment as he brushed his thumb over the pocket watch that his mom and dad had given him right before they were killed. He then put his smile back on his face to finish what he was saying.
"I don't have many normal friends cause I have to live in my teams command center...So..what's your life like?"

This guy, or rather Vince, as he called himself was the first ranger, other than in Caitlyn’s group, Cat had met, well personally like this. It was interesting, and she wondered if there was something going on. She put her book back in her small bag beside her, and sat comfortably. He seemed to notice her off easy about being a ranger, something she hid rather well, well usually. She felt the need to apologize for this. “I’m sorry… its well I short of tried running away…didn’t work so much,” She slightly rolled her eyes some, but shrugged with a smile. “But I guess we don’t have much of a choice in the matter, aye?” she half joked, wanting to lighten the mood. Well maybe.
“I just finished reading, Blood and Chocolate,” she replied. “Its an alright book. Ireland is pretty. And the people are really nice, and usually there is no trouble like 1% but its nothing that police can’t handle…and yeah…” She could feel herself ramble a little bit, and when she did this, her Irish accent, that usually sounded as a mix between American/Irish, came out very Irish.
“I personally will read anything I’m not picky…I like music too along with singing…but I also like technology. I can build almost anything, which I guess makes me the “techie” of the group?” she shrugged. She looked up at him. “I’m sorry,” she replied softly. Sure she did not live with her parents any more, but still, the thought about losing them made her sad. “The watch is pretty,” she said, watching him.
Life. She smiled slightly. “Well…I was born here, but my father’s job transferred him to Ireland when I was two, so we moved there, I had a younger sister, who is 17 who is also a ranger…she is the more rebel of the two of us… and yeah I guess there is not much to tell.” She shrugged.

Vince just gently took off his watch and put it in Cat's hand so she could examine it further if she wished. He just looked at the watch as Cat went on to talk about her book interests. The girl seemed smart and very kind and interesting. As Vince listened intently he knew he should probably tell her why he took so much in being a ranger. He just sighed and gulped after she finished telling how she ran away at first.
"Well you see, about a year ago on my 15TH birthday there was a monster attack in angel grove where the original rangers are from. They had not arrived yet...my parents were a parkour expert and a singer.. They tried to help the civilians just like I did but were killed. I left angel grove an orphan and headed to the town of reefside where I met one of the longest serving rangers who gave me his old morpher from back when he was on the mighty morphin team. I want to make sure what happened to me never happens to anyone else. That watch was my birthday gift they got me that day.
He then reached over and opened the watch where on the lid it had the inscription "Your mom and dad love you Vince" and below that very sloppily scratched in it had the date of their deaths and the words "Never stop fighting"
Vince just sighed and tried to keep his smile but it was hard. He just placed his hand on Cat's shoulder and gave her a serious look.
"I promise your not alone."

Caitlyn studied the watched. It looked like something she seen back home, but she was not to certain. It was remarkable handiwork. She wondered if it could be replica of something, and had messed around on the computer making something like this, but nothing crossed her mind. Shrugging lightly to herself, she handed it back to him. “It is lovely,” she replied again. She really did not have anything from her parents, though when they did offer, she denied. She was not into material possession. She preferred memories, which her mind could hold a lot of.
Cat listened to his story. It hurt her. Even though she did not know him, that was the kind of person she was. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. “I am not going to lie and say I know how it feels…but I am sorry. It must be hard…” she felt stupid for the last bit, and smacked her-self mentally for the last bit. “Sorry,” she replied. “Habit.”
The whole picture came in there. What picture was it she was not sure. But she felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Something that had been there a long time, that just made part of her mind tired. “Thanks,” was her simple replied. Of course Louis and even her sister told her that time again, but she felt they felt obligated to say that. Here on her old home soil, felt better. She should come here more often.

Vince just smiled softly as she gave him her condolences. He then put his watch back around his neck then smiled whole heartadly at her. As he went to stand a group of putrids appeared and Vince groaned. He knew that the day was to peaceful. Vince just stood as the minions danced around. Vince looked down at Cat with a grin knowing she knew what had to be done.
"Time for a work out."
Vince then locked his eyes on the creatures and ran for them. He then just jumped into the battle and began to count the creatures. There was about 20 of them. That was easy pickings for two rangers. Vince quickly jabbed at a couple with his fists and tripped two others. He seemed to have a skip to his step as he fought off the creatures. As he defended himself he got pushed far away from Cat. They were trying to keep them separated.
"Hey Cat! It's time to join the party!"
Vince called out as he tried to fend off all of the minions that rushed him. All 20 ran at him and began to launch blows at him. He tried to defend himself but a couple grabbed his arms and legs and tossed him up against a tree hard. Vince fell to the ground then his vision blurred as they rushed him again.

This was a great day. Really. Gosh give her a drink and everything would be peachy. Hey she may have not been born there but she knows what an Irish stands for. Just then minions that she recognized as putrids had the place. She and Vince had groaned in unison, as other people in the park screamed and ran. Oh the joys of a ranger, she threw her jacket down, and hopped up automatically, ready to fight. Unlike what she thought, she was a natural ranger.
*Why I left and took a break from Ireland, I have no idea,* she thought. This was going to be fun-ish. There were twenty of them. As she fought the two got separated. One grabbed her arms, pinning her to the ground. “Okay forget this,” She replied morphing into the blue ranger she was. She did a backwards flip knocking them back, tripping two others. The flip was hard on them, but the way she did it, was graceful enough for a swan.
She ran towards Vince, knocking some heads, but there was a swarm around them. She took out her blaster, and shocked them, taking them off guard, and some vanished. She got to Vince, finally.
“Letting me have all the fun?” She asked, helping him up quickly, while she kicked one away.

Vince tried to clear his head as he saw Cat jump up and begin to fight, She was graceful and a natural. She made her way to him in no time flat. He saw her morph and grinned because he knew the real fun was about to start. She blasted down some of the minions and then helped him up and he smirked when she asked if he was letting her have all her fun. He just grinned at her and pulled out his morpher.
"Not on your life sister!"
Vince then held out his morpher quickly and called out full of power.
"It's morphin time! Tigerzord!"
Vince then morphed into the white mighty morphin power ranger and grinned under his helmet and took out his saber and held it at the ready. He then took off running for the group that rushed them slashing a couple down and then kicking a few others and stabbing them. Vince then looked forward as a big ogre looking creature with three big horns appeared. It was an org the leader of the minions. Vince just looked back at Cat.
"looks like the boss is here. Aim for the horn. I think that's how the wild force rangers take down their bad guys."
Vince then took off running for the monster but it shot a sludge blast at Vince making him jump back. He growled and looked back at Cat keeping his sword in defensive position.
"Any ideas?"

Caitlyn was different when she morphed into ranger form. She seemed to flip her from I-can’t-stand-being-a- ranger, to let’s kick some bad-guy-butt. Cait had been a ranger for almost two years, about a year and a quarter more likely, and she never experiences so much fighting wise. The only thing she had going for her, she thought, was her mind power, basically saying her photographic memory saved her life (and others) way too often, by sheer luck. Cat was not a fighter, unless she needed to be, enough said.
She continued to think fast as they were getting surrounded quickly. She continued to fight the putrids, flipping, punching, and sending some through the air, out and some of them vanishing. She turned her head quickly when he has spoke up. Ugg fingures these skinny butts would not come alone.
She did not recognize it, but it look difficult to destroy. She had never the chance to fight something major like this big guy. She shook her head, still racking her brain. Horns? Well it was worth a shot…or not. She jumped slightly as it was nothing she was use to. “He can’t go after both of us at once. Attack on three……Three!” She ran, pulling her blaster out as she was doing so. It was all happening in slow motion, or it seemed like she was. She ran, jumped on the dude’s head, and behind him blasting at him there, but missing the horn. She was certainly rusty and had not really the practice at these kinds of monsters.

Vince watched with amazement as Cat took out the remaining foot soldiers. She was different from the girl he was just talking to and he liked it. He listened as she came up with a plan to both attack the monster together since he could not attack them both. Vince nodded and got ready for her countdown when she then ran for the monster jumping over it shooting it until she landed behind him. This is what Vince saw as he ran beside her heading for the monster. After she jumped shooting the monster Vince jumped and started spinning in the air slicing the horn off the orgs head landing next to Cat.
What Happened next Vince did not know about. The monster fell over and turned into a puddle of purple slime. Vince did not demorph yet however. It all seemed to easy to just be over like that. Vince just looked at Cat.
"Nice plan Cat but I don't think it's over yet."
Vince then just turned to the puddle and watched as it reformed into a giant version of the monster they had just beaten. This actually excited Vince because he had been looking for a reason to get to use his zord. He just looked at Cat full of excitement.
"Time to bust out the hardware!"
Vince then just raised his hand to the sky.
"I need Tigerzord power now!"
Vince then just watched as his Giant white Tiger looking zord leaped over a few buildings and slashing at the org knocking it back and then stopping. Vince then just jumped onto it's back and went inside marveled at the cockpit and called to Cat.
"Come on little swan! Let's kick some butt!"

“That’s disgusting,” her Irish voice replied, seeing the purple slime. She stood back, a moment, glad the work was done. As Vince spoke she looked at him. “What do you mean its not over yet, we killed him…” But she had spoken to soon, as the monster grew. “You have got to be kidding me,” she muttered. Honestly this was a first for her, and all her hopes of a peaceful day went down the drain.
She turned to Vince, her brain switching to overdrive, another person, braver, and clear had felt had taken over her. She watched Vince, and though she was not sure if she had a zord, something told her to activate, well something.
“Swanzord, get ready for flight!” Okay so it was corney but still, it worked. Out of the air, came a fast blue swan, that took her up in the air and inside. She closed her eyes for a moment. Again a first time for this, and did she ever mentioned to anyone she was a little bit scared of heights?
Little Swan? Oh no he didn’t, she may have been short but not little.. *Come on Odette* she thought, has followed, about to fight the creature in front of them for a last time.

Vince Smiled as Cat summoned her swan zord and took to the skies. Vince looked over the controls of his zord and sent the tigerzord dashing forward at the Ogre slashing at it with his claws but being deflected. He then jumped at the ogre's arm and bit down hard and dug into the ground to keep him still. They had an advantage to having a flying zord in this case. The ogre began to thrash around trying to shake Vince off but he held fast trying to keep his grip.
"Come on Cat! I can't hold on for much longer!"
As Vince said this the Ogre began to punch down on the tigerzord causing it to spark and the cockpit to shake and it's grip to loosen. He then through the tigerzord off crashing to the ground. Vince groaned and became dazed but quickly looked around his console where he found a warrior mode setting and quickly slid his blade into the sword and had the tigerzord back on his feet to change.
"Tigerzord warrior mode!"
He then activated warrior mode causing the tigerzord to change into a man looking form having a blade at his side. It was time to end this.

Cat focused on what she had to do. She could and would do this, one not that she had a choice, and two she trusted her zord to do what she needed to do. Odette, what she called her zord, was graceful in the sky, or graceful enough that a machine would be, and called. Cat pulled the controls, and let the zord take over. “Odette, let’s use sonic screech!” The zord opened its mouth and waves such from a sonic, came from it; the sonic screech had knocked the ogre backwards, but it was still moving some. She was trying hard.
“Vince, move on my signal!...Alright lets use metal wing!” Cat shouted a second before it active, Cat shouted at Vince to move and the Metal wing took out the Ogre, making him explode. “Yeah! That’s what I’m talking about!”
