Working on Passing Time

Dillon had been here a few days now. Getting up to speed on what had happened and how he got here. Zordon was helpful in filling him in and directing him from this point forward. He managed to get a small apartment and actually a decent job as a mechanic. Both being on faith alone. And so far he had made good on it all. Having paid for his first weeks stay with the first check he made. Things were settling in for him.

Getting set up here was first on the list. In between the times he had to slip away to take care of little problems as a ranger. He had met very few of the other rangers. One when he got here, and Ziggy. He rolled out from under the car he was working on and sat up. Wiping his hands on a rag from his pocket. As he got up he picked the creeper up and hung it back in it's place before returning to the car. Checking the oil and the other fluids before closing the hood and lowering the car from the lift. A simple oil and filter change. He signaled another worker to take the car out since he was dirty. Signing off on the work order.

Vince was so happy with his life as of late. He had met an awesome girl who was also a ranger, He had met a whole bunch of rangers and made so many friends, He even got his new Ninjetti powers! He had went to the planet phedos and became the Crimson Tiger Ninjetti. His life was awesome for him right now. Vince only faced one problem. He had a serious lack of Crimson in his wardrobe. So to solve this problem Vince headed down town. While there he remembered that he had heard that his old friend Dillon the black RPM ranger had gotten a job at the down town Car repair garage so he decided to stop by. As he approached it he saw Dillon clocking out and ran in.

"Hey Dillon! It's been a long time hasn't it? I hope you remember me. I have so much to fill you in on. I gotta go clothes shopping but you can tag along if ya want."

Vince then walked up to Dillon and gave him a big warm happy smile like a little brother might give his big brother after not seeing him for a long time. Vince was glad that Dillon was having a good life so far from his old home. Dillon deserved it after all that he had been through. Vince and Dillon may have been from two different universes but they were so alike. Dillon used his stoic personality to hide his pain and Vince tried his best to keep a smile to hide the heart broken child that lied beneath.

"We could make a day of it. What you say? Hey maybe if were lucky we will get to beat some bad guys while were out."

Truth be told, even though Vince had made many other friends, Dillon was the one he most identified with. The one he could truly consider a brother.

There wasn't anything left as he finished. And with only a few minuets left he was allowed to clock out early. He was handed his pay for the week as he clocked out. As he did he heard a familiar up beat yet lightly annoying voice. Similar to Ziggy in many ways but different. He turned with a half smile seeing the young boy come running up at first. His mind searched for a moment before the name came to him. This was Vince, the first person he met when he came to this....place. A ranger like himself but still young. He stepped out of the shop area to keep them both from getting into trouble. " Hey Vince. Long time no see. Sounds like you have a lot to talk about. You have great timing apparently. I just got off from work. "

He shrugged as he removed his cover-all's and put them in a bag. Walking to his car and tossing the bag inside before pulling out his black leather jacket and putting it on. " Since most of the stores here are close together we can walk it. that should give you time to catch up on whats been going on. Any word on any other rpm rangers other than the green one? "

Vince smiled as Dillon remembered him and seemed happy to see him. As Vince watched Dillon get ready to leave he felt his excitement build. Dillon wanted to hear what he was up too. Dillon said something as he put on his jacket that confused him. A green RPM ranger? Vince hadn't checked for other RPM rangers but he remembered that there was one out there but not the others. He just shook his head with a frown at Dillon.

"Sorry Dillon, I haven't heard anything. I will check the command center records when I go back for you OK? I'm sure zordon can help us find them."

Vince then heard that they were gonna walk around since everything was close by. Vince nodded keeping his smile on his face as he walked out with Dillon to start the day.

"I have met so many people Dillon! There's this new team called the Olympian rangers, their powers come from the greek gods of legend and I got to train two of them. I also met a girl at the beach in reefside. She's one of the Olympians too it's so cool. I also met some of my team and got in some cool fights. I have met so many different people Dillon. I think the coolest thing that's happen though is that I got my Ninjetti spirit!

See, the Ninjetti powers come from this planet called Phedos where they call it the great power. You have to make it to this temple and face all these dangers and I met the guardian of the powers Dulcea and became the Crimson tiger Ninjetti. So, I'm not the white ranger any more. I have stronger powers and some ninja powers which I haven't tested but I am holding on to my old morpher to pass on if I find someone worthy to give it to. So other then not having a family my life is pretty good."

Vince sighed for a moment as they walked for the shop district. He then smiled again and looked at Dillon and then looked at looked around at all the different shops and found the discount clothing store and walked in and began to look around for some Crimson colored clothes to mix in with his wardrobe.

"Tell me what you have been up to Dillon. Is there a special lady or anything?"

He listened to Vince ramble on. Finding it lightly annoying but funny. As Ziggy was most of the time. He hoped Ziggy was doing well here. With a heavy sigh and half grin he shook his head. Vince finally ran out of words for the moment which would allow him to talk in turn. He kept his serious look but lightened up on the tone he normally held. " Well as far as green rangers, I know Ziggy came through. It's the others i'm curious about. I have had a few run ins with local minions myself. Other than that it's been work and sleep. Not much use in doing anything else. "

He walked into the clothing shop with him and shook his head. " That's interesting about your new abilities. Though i doubt just any ranger could go do such a thing. Trading out the morpher is a good thing i suppose as well. "

Vince just smiled as he listened to Dillon speak. He had had to fight a few times and was happy about Vince's new powers which made Vince happy and feel a bit proud of himself. As he walked through the racks picking out clothes he found something that made him smile. It was a leather jackets like Dillon's. Vince scooped it up and put it on and laughed. He tried to look at Dillon with a straight face but started to chuckle so he put it back and got a crimson colored zip up hoodie and decided he had enough clothes.

"Come on, I think I have enough clothes for now."

Vince then walked up to the counter and paid and walked out trying to think of what they could do next. Vince stopped and thought for a moment and smiled. They could go get ice cream. As he began to walk for the ice cream place a though occurred to him. He didn't know that much about where Dillon had come from. He knew that Dillon didn't remember his past and that he had a sister but that's because that's all Dillon knew.

"Hey Dillon, what's your favorite kind of Ice cream?They do have Ice cream in corinth right? What kind of stuff did you do there for fun besides fight grinders?"

While in the store he simply watched. A light grin and a shake of his head at the antics of Vince. When roughly an arm full of clothes was reached they were at the counter paying and then heading out again. He decided to poke fun at Vince. " Careful there, you're starting to sound like a girl. With all this, i think I have enough clothes or I need more clothes stuff. " He grinned lightly and shrugged. " Don't know. I don't eat ice-cream very often. We have it in Corinth but it is rare. Usually for fun i'm working on my car or helping the others with something or another. "
