discrimination has been around what seems like forever. the year was nineteen ninety, strange things had been occurring and the news was full of those strange beings. you think it was something out of a movie but you saw it with your own eyes. people flying, other creating fire from thin air. it was crazy and the government wasn't making matters better. this up rise of these people who called themselves supers. this event seemed to be focused in the united states. people said they were stupid for coming out, but the supers were done hiding. the government tired to fix things but all that lead was more discrimination, until finally a massacre broke out in random place, then all over the united states. things wouldn't be the same again.
a ten years later and everything seems to of been forgotten. no one knows what happened to the supers and no one wants to know. i will tell you, i will tell you what happened to us. our kind wanted equal rights and the government wanted to control us.
people said it wasn't going to be like this. we were promised freedom, protection and happiness....where did that all go? it had all began as a government experiment trying to create the super solider everyone so desired, what the scientist created was anything but an ordinary soldier. lets say things didn't end well and all those people in the facility managed to escape....dead or alive. people wanted to fight back and there were others who wanted nothing more than to be free to be who they are. one of those people found the uninhabited island that is now known as new haven. he had seen his friends and family massacred. he like so many just wanted to live in piece.
years have passed for those who have escaped the government's control. most managed to blend with the humans and the rest had come together with him to the island of new haven is a great place to be, especially if you are a super. so far no one has discovered the whereabouts of the little island. due to the many supers who managed to keep it cloaked, hidden from human eyes. the only thing the new haveners have to worry about is whether or not they have a dark secret they need to keep hidden. drama is never to far away, especially on this little island. at least they don't have to worry about being discovered......right?
