Eliza felt terrible, and not because she just killed a bug. No, Kelly's face was haunting her dreams, guilt landing on her shoulders. She didn't care Kelly went rogue, but that SHE was the one killing Kellysucked. Eliza swallowed a big lump as she sat on the edge of her bed thinking deeply about what she did. The sound of Kelly's neck snapping in her own hands.
Kelly's eyes begging her to let her go. Tears rolled down Eliza's cheeks and so she walked to the bathroom. She didn't attend the funeral, she couldn't face the sight of Kelly's death. Eliza looked into the mirror and somehow everything about her screamed murderer. With a growl she punched the mirror in little pieces of glass.
Her hand covered in blood and her eyes full of tears. I'm so sorry kelly. she cried and sat down on the ground. She had to pay for a new mirror for Tommy. Eliza didn't make it home because she was so fucked up and so hurt. Kelly didn't deserve to die like that, she should've died old and grey not young and full of life.
Eliza looked down at her bleeding hand, not feeling the pain at all. Eliza leaned her head against the wall of the bathroom and just let her tears fall.

The funeral had just ended and Tommy wanted nothing more than to take off the horrible black suit that Kim had made him put on and lock himself in his bedroom with a bottle of something potent, he did not care much what it was, and he really did not want to be around anyone right now, even Kim. The simple fact of the matter was that he had to deal wit h the fact that his sister had been killed, and not by just anyone, Kelly had been killed by his other sister. The fact that he did not blame Eliza for the killing since Kelly had turned against him did little to ease his pain. He had to to deal with this in his own way, and then he had to act the part of leader again, shrugging off his own pain for the sake of the team. Not for the first time since he had first activated a morpher, Tommy cursed fate for putting him on the morphing grid.
He entered his home, hoping that it was empty for once, and made a straight beeline for the kitchen, where he quickly found the bottle of bourbon that he had saved for certain situations, pulled off the cap and took a long pull from the bottle, not even bothering to pour it into a glass. Feeling the burning liquid course down his throat helped ease his pain a bit, but not nearly enough.
The first part of his mission accomplished, he loosened his tie and made his way to his upstairs bedroom, taking the liquor with him/ He planned to spend the next few hours drinking and doing what he could to forget the searing pain that he was feeling now. He made it up the stairs and was almost to the bedroom when he heard a crash from the upstairs bathroom. Curious, and for some reason, not in the least alarmed, he ambled over to investigate, peering in through the half open door.
For some reason, he was not at all surprised to see Eliza there, standing in front of a shattered mirror, clutching a bloody hand. She, of all people would understand the kind of pain he was feeling. Without being asked for invitation to enter, he made his way int and sat on the edge of the tub, holding up the bottle so his sister could see it. "Here, it looks like you can use this".

Blood flowing from her hands and yet all Eliza could think off was the murder she committed. Kelly was her sister, her best friend, no one expected this to happen, that she'd go rogue and Eliza ahd to face her on her death. She didnt gave a damn about people saying that she did what was right.
It wasnt right, it was a murder, she took a life, one she cared about, nothing about that was good. Eliza sighed and looked up at her older brother. Tears in her eyes and pain all over her face she coxuldn't imagine how her brother should feel. Having his own sister murdered by his other sister. It was wrong and he knew it as well as eliza did.
He walked into the bathroom with a bottle of bourbon and Eliza rolled her eyes. Eliza took the bottle and poured some of the drink on a towel. Eliza pressed the with alcohol covered towel against her hand and gave the bottle back. i don't need to drink. I'll wake up the next morning more messed up then i am now. she spoke and bit her bottom lip as the alcohol burned on her hand.
Eliza missed kelly every day, and she wished kelly died in a car accident insteax of eliza breaking her neck. Fastest way to eie, less painful for the dying yet killing for the one who makes the kill. i owe you a mirror she spoke with a soft voice.

If death had a look, it would be the look of the woman in front of him. That she was in pain was obvious, even expected. But Tommy never thought that he would actually be seeing in the flesh his own pain reflected on anyone, much less his own flesh and blood. For the briefest of moments, he wondered if they would ever get past this pain, the gut wrenching horror that had lately consumed their lives. They had to, he conceded to himself. The alternative was just too horrible to comprehend. That, and the fact remained that the world was still very much in danger and for the time being, he and everyone else involved had to put their own personal pain aside for the sake of the well being of the universe.
i don't need to drink. I'll wake up the next morning more messed up then i am now
Eliza took the bottle from him and instead of drinking it, poured it over he bloody hand. He should have known better. His sister had never been much of a drinker, but had thought that this would be one the rare times that she did take one. He almost physically felt the pain that she must be feeling as he watched the alcohol seep into the deep cut on her hand. He knew that it had to hurt, but he also knew that Eliza was not feeling much of anything right now. Not even a cut that most likely needed a few stitches.
She murmured to him something along the lines of owing him a new mirror. He just shrugged it off, a replacement mirror right now was the least of his concerns and he was sure that Kim would agree. He was more worried about her now truth be told. Hell, he was worried about himself as well. He did his best to push those kinds of dark thoughts aside. He had enough to worry about without having to deal with that kind of crap. "Forget about the mirror. I never liked it anyway"
The joke was a bad one, and it was said halfheartedly, but it was the best that he could do at the moment. Every fiber in his being screamed at him to so something....anything now to try and ease this pain not only for himself but for his sister as well. Then, without warning, he stood up from his seat on the tub and crossed over to his sister, pulling her into a tight hug, letting their tears mingle together in a gesture of silent solidarity,. "No matter what happens sis, I.don't.blame. you." Those four words, so simple, but powerful enough he hoped to help his sister.

Eliza hated herself, yep she admit that like a child admitting to a cookie. Both her and tommy's life are being turned upside down and all because kelly went rogue. No one will ever know whats on her mind when it happened. Eliza was a tough girl but even these things could make her go weak. Everyone had their own way of mourning, tommy started drinking, kim tried to stay calm and eliza freaked out.
Eliza looked up to tommy, his fake and totally misplaced joke did make her feel a tad better. She sighed and felt more warm tears stream down her cheeks. And not more then a second later she was held tight into tommy's arms. She placed her head on his chest and just cried.
Eliza looked at tommy when he spoke and she just kissed his cheeks and placed her head back on his chest. that makes one of us. Thank you. she spoke and hugged him as tight as he hugged her. They're still a family, and even if that sucks sometimes, they had to stay together.

Time seemed to slow down. For what seemed like an eternity, the two Oliver siblings just held onto each other for dear life. Both finding comfort in the other, each giving what the other needed, and the emotional support, while needed by both at the moment, seemed to be needed by Eliza more. She cried into his chest, getting one of his best dress shirts wet, but like the mirror, he really did not give a damn. Material things could be replaced, but his sister's well being was much harder to fix. that makes one of us. Thank you
She was being too hard on herself again. She shared a trait with Tommy that had the tendency to drive those that loved them crazy...what they called the "guilt complex". That, no matter what happened, these two always found some way to blame themselves for it. Though, in this case, it was pretty obvious that Eliza killed Kelly, but she still had be to be dealing with the harsh reality that it was not just any ranger gone bad that she had killed, it was her own flesh and blood, and it would take years, if ever for her to recover fully.
Reluctantly, he disengaged the hug and guided her to sit next to him on the edge of the tub. There would be time later and better places for them to talk about this, but right now, he just wanted to make sure that she was alright, even if he was not one hundred percent sure that he was alright himself. He lay a hand on her knee and gave a gentle squeeze of reassurance....once again putting aside his own pain to see to hers. "Look, I know this sucks Lizzy," he started, using the pet name that he called her as a child, that he knew that she hated, "but you have to know that this gets better. Now I am not going to sit here and blow smoke up your ass and tell you that I know what you are going through, because I don't. But What I can tell you is that I am not going to leave you, ever. No matter what. Take that for what you think its worth, but I swear that it is true" He stopped there, faltering, not knowing what to say next. He just hoped that what he did say was enough.

Tommy's words helped, they truly did. Eliza felt a bit better but she still couldn't believe it, herself, what she did and why she did it. She never cared about anyone thinking things about her but now she had to do what others thought about her and it felt bad. Eliza was dragged onto the edge of the bathtub and frowned looking at tommy.
He was going to do it. He was going to put his final words in this and usually they make a person feel amazong about themselves, it was the fatherly leader instincts he possessed and which was passed on from their dad. But whe eliza saw tommy as a father she quickly washed her outh, he is so not the type of man looking like a dad, but his words were a loving as one.
Best brother she could imagine. call me lizzy again and i'll kill you. But thanks she smiled and gave him a final hug. The feelings weren't gone, kelly will be forever in her heart, but tommy made her feel a tad better about herswlf and maybe thats all she actually needed.
