[[OOC: Takes place directly after Invisible to Visible]]
She had totally brushed him off. Declined his offer for help. And left him standing there probably confused as all get out. But did she care? No...not really. Or at least that's what she would have told anyone who had asked her anyways...
The meeting with Kevin and the fight with those Stingwingers had
left her sore. And hurting in so many ways. She gave a soft snort....limping on her left leg and the beginnings of what was going to be a nasty black eye--she must have looked like a right mess. There had actually been one person who had already asked her if she was all right. And yes--yes she was fine already! She hadn't been the kindest chick ever to the old man. But she was hurting and on edge. What else could you expect?
She was still confused though. She was evil. She worked for criminals and dangerous people. She hated the rangers and wanted a certain group of them dead. And yet that ranger still wanted to help her. Never mind the fact that he didn't know any of that. She did. And knowing that he offered to help her...it confused her brain. She didn't get it. Which in turn made her more grumpy...she hated not knowing stuff!
She saw the bench in the park and mentally cheered. Huzzah! A bench! A place to sit! And rest. Whoo. Amelia grumped softly as she practically fell into the bench. It felt good to get off her feet. It was a rather long walk to here from the beach. But she had done it. And so there. The dark haired woman from the future leaned back into the bench and simply sighed. The sun was still out and shining away. And there was a light breeze too. Nice day all in all.
Long but nice...kinda....
