Personality:
Achilles' outlook on life is quite pessimistic at times. His philosophy could be most easily described by "If we have to die, we should take as many of them with us as possible."
When it comes to other people, they are all tools to achieve his objectives, whatever he deems them to be. He LOVES women... not that he's a womanizer, he is aways looking for a serious relationship, but will sleep with any woman, he finds attractive, and willing, as long as he's not in a relationship.
The common man or woman on the street, what we would call those in low social and/or economic standard, that may come across Achilles, can expect to be ignored as though they were either non-existent or an insect. The exception to this rule comes into play if and when Achilles finds a woman attractive, or when he finds a personal useful to his plans and schemes.
The first impression most people get from seeing him walk by is that he must surelu contian the histor of wealth and excess that comes as a celebrity.. However, to those he chooses to actually have a conversation with, Achilles seems to exude charisma, confidence and charm. The ladies seem to want him, and the men want to be him.
Achilles always believes he is the rightful, and best man for any and all leadership positions, and he takes extreme joy, pleasure and satisfaction in successfully dominating and controlling people's lives. This is especially true if the control can be done subtly.
When it comes to personal combat and war, he is physically courage to the extreme, almost always willing to lead the assault. However, moral courage is another matter. He can be just are ruthless and fickle as all other people. Whenever anyone crosses him, his automatic reaction is to utterly and completely crush his enemy. This can happen in either one of two ways. first, if the offender is within immediate striking range, he will confront them physically in close combat. And if that is not practical he will follow Machiavellian-like methods of destroying their worlds and personal life before finally confronting him. seize your enemy's resources, alienate their friends, eliminate their wealth, disrupt their supply lies, destroy their alliances, and THEN they will be ready for death.
The downsides to Achilles are many, he is extremely egotistical, and quite pessimistic. Achilles can be overly silly sometimes, and has an extreme case of Athazagoraphobia.
History Narrative: Achilles was born to an adventurous couple of a school teacher and the US Army chief of staff, who seemed to be an extreme Greek history buff. Achilles was very loved and very well taken care of until the age of 9 when both of his parents died in a car accident when they went out on his ninth birthday to get his present while he was left with the baby sitter.
After his parents died, a nice man from church took on the role of surrogate father. Around the age of 12, Achilles got into boy scouts. At the age of 16, Achilles was on a camping trip when he got lost in the woods, and eventually found himself in a cave. Since it was nightfall when he found the cave, he decided to stay the night.
After several hours it was past midnight and Achilles couldn't sleep. Since he couldn't' sleep, he decided to explore the cave, and eventually, he came across a small entrance which led to a large cavern. Once in the cavern Achilles found a cache of treasure and artifacts in a trunk. One of the items in the trunk happened to be a morpher with a phoenix power coin.
When the morning came, Achilles figured it was time to go, and after several hours couldn't find his way out. In his frustration Achilles stopped and went through his back pack, and when his hand touched the morpher, he instinctively called out “Phoenix!”
Once he did this, he transformer into a power ranger, and channeled an energy blast, and shot his way out of the cave. After freeing himself, he took what he could fit into his bag, and returned to his boyscout troop, never telling a soul about the encounter.
Afterwards Achilles went back to his normal life. Including finishing high school and getting a degree from Valley Forge Christian Academy, with a dual major in political science and theology.
After college Achilles enlisted in the United States Army, taking the fact track, eventually joining the rangers, followed by Special Forces, and finally the Combat Applications Group. Throughout his years in the service Achilles fought in Panama, Somalia, Haiti, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Achilles is currently retired from federal service and seeking to make his own in the world with his long held secret powers.

It was 0400 and Achilles just couldn't sleep so he decided to train. Why was he training? Simple, he had been transferred to this new command he had never heard of before. Stargate Command of the Homeworld Command.
Achilles began recording into his own personal audio log: "Apparently, aliens WERE real and the government had known about them for a long time. So much so that we now have spaceships and alien allies against alien enemies and we were going to other star systems through a device created by yet another alien race that's long since extinct. Man that was one wacky briefing. This new post sounds quite interesting though. I should be a challenge and yet fulfilling. I mean come on, how many Operators get to go to other planets and fight alien enemies like in the movies?
"Well today is the day when I get to go join the space rangers."
After saying that he let out a hard chuckle, and began packing up his last few personal items he wanted to take with him.
"This ought to be everything. Time to go where no man has gone before. Well.. where lots of men have gone before I'm told."
Achilles turned his recording device off, and grabbed his bags.
"GreekReaper to Odyssey... One to beam up Scotty." Achilles chuckles hard as he is beamed aboard to the bridge.
After a very short journey, Achilles is transported down to the SGC, where he gates to the Delta Expedition.
