Okay so she was in another time, another year, another place and so out of her comfort zone (even if she would never admit to it in a million years) that it wasn't even remotely funny. But she had to do what she was told to do. She had to come out here and do what she had to. She may not have been 100% comfortable with this place, but orders were orders and she followed them without question. Well...most of the time without questions.
Moving on....
The girl from the future wandered around the streets of what was becoming a somewhat familiar place to her. Angel Grove was a nice little place away from home as it were. Different but nice all the same. I mean if she had to be some thirty odd years in the past and not familiar with the times--then this would be the place she would choose. She sighed softly as she looked around at the families, the groups of friends, the girlfriend with her boyfriend--they were all having fun and needless to say, she felt a little jealous. Jealous of everything she didn't have anymore. Or what she had taken away from her.
Her facial expression turned stony as she quickly blinked away the tears that threatened to show themselves. No. She wouldn't allow herself to go there. Not here, not now. maybe later...when she didn't have somethin to be doing. But for now--she pushed the emotions and hurt to the back burner of her mind. Not now. Not now. Not now.
She shook her head clear of its thoughts as she continued to look around the streets once again. She was looking for a certain someone. And she had to find him....that's all there was to it. And so find him she would. Cause that's how she worked. She didn't let her boss down. There was no way... 'Where oh where could you be?'

Vince was just out for a stroll in the down town area today. He was hoping for a day off from fighting evil. He knew it probably wouldn't happen but who knew the future right? Vince had been to the comic book store he liked to frequent and now was heading for the mall. He loved to just walk around and window shop when he was bored. As he walked however something felt off. He had a bad feeling that something horrible was coming. Vince would dismiss it for now but kept his eyes open.
"Please oh please let it just be bored jitters."
Vince muttered as he tried to disappear into the crowd. As he walked through the crowd he began to think the unthinkable. He was being watched but not by a monster. Vince had read in the archives that there had been a history of evil rangers. Vince hated the thought of this but he knew that since he was a newer ranger he would be targeted. He just had to wait it out. He quickly entered the mall knowing he would be followed. It was best to stay in a crowd because then his attacker couldn't morph which gave him a better chance. Hopefully he was right.

Amelia was beginning to wonder if she was even in the right town anymore. She had spent the better part of the morning looking for this kid...and still nothing. She was beginning to get irritated. She knew that she was the only one for this mission (being the only one that looked even remotely similar to a human being) but that didn't mean that she had to enjoy looking high and low all over the joint.
' Humph...watch it. He probably sent me on a wild goose chance. That conniving fish bowl head.'
Broodwing. She hated that fish bowl head. And despite being the one that took her in, he hated her too. Maybe he had regretted the decision? Or didn't like that she held just as much power then he did? Who knows? But what she did know was that they both held ill wills towards each other. And it so would have been like him to send her on a wild goose chase. Ugh if that was the case, then she was so going to let him have it when she got back.
But lucky for him--that was not the case.
A sly smile came onto her face as she saw the brown haired kid walk out of a comic book. Ahh so that was where he had been. Huh. Well that didn't matter any. What mattered what somehow taking him out. While he didn't look like much now, in the future--in her time--he was a powerful ally to the SPD Rangers. And any alley of theirs was an enemy of her's. If she could take him out now, then they wouldn't have to worry about him in the future. Perfect win win for everyone. Well save for the kid of course. But what did that matter?
He must have sensed something though. He tried to disappear among the crowds, but she had her eyes on him and she wasn't about to loose him. He was right in the assumption that she would follow him into the mall. Cause she did. Mentally cursing all the way, but she did. How was she supposed to destroy him in a place full of people....and therefore witnesses?! Ugh this kid was making it harder then it needed to be. She then decided to try and cut him off. And so keeping her eyes on him, she walked off to one side in an attempt to make a large circle and them cut him off. Unlike most rangers, she had no qualms about morphing in public. Never had--never would. And so she would transform if she had too.
It was all a matter of if the kid cooperated or not...
Simple.

Vince Had to ditch this woman. It was pretty Obvious now that she was after him. He had to blend in the crowd and try to lead her away from people, to where they couldn't be seen by the Civilians. As he ran however he saw that she cut him off. As the people walked among them he caught the sight of her eyes and glared into them. He had no idea who he was facing but he knew he couldn't let innocent people get hurt. He just stared at her for a long moment for beginning to speak in a calm tone since neither of them could make a move here.
"I don't know why you are after me but it stays between you and me. None of these people need to get hurt. If you want me, come get me."
Vince then grinned at her and took off running for the rail of the upper level. His plan was to try and out run her so he could get to the fire alarm to clear out the people so he could morph and defend himself. As he reached the Railing he just jumped and pushed off of it and quickly begin falling. To keep from injuring himself as he fell he quickly grabbed the side of the stairs just long enough to slow down and then let go. He then took off running and saw one of the fire alarms. He grinned and got to it.
"Game on."
He said as he pulled the alarm causing people to scream and the sprinklers to begin to go off soaking himself and everyone else along with him. As people began to clear out he just motioned for his assassin to come fourth. This had gone on long enough.

Amelia had to figure something out. There was no other option here. Humph...this kid was a slippery little devil to be sure. And she couldn't risk loosing him in the crowds. She gave a hurried excuse me as she half way shoved one guy out of the way in order to keep an eye on her target. The guy said some obscene something or other to her...but she didn't take notice. She could have cared less if she was to be honest here. She had a mission. And the stakes were too high for her not to succeed. She didn't know what could happen if she failed the boss. And with her boss...she didn't want to find out either. She had always been put on a different ladder due to being simply a human. And she knew that she had eyes on her more then the other creeps did. It all added up to a lot of flak she would get if this didn't go as planned. Something she didn't want to deal with thank you very much.
She momentarily lost sight of the boy and she mentally cursed. Bah...where was he? Where was he?! It wasn't long before she caught sight of him again and off she went, shoving her way through the crowds. She kept a close eye on him and apparently he was doing the same to her. He glared at her and her icy blue eyes glared right back at him. She finally caught up to him at the base of the stairs that led to the upper level of the mall. He spoke and she couldn't help but roll her eyes. She snorted, "I don't care about them. They can do whatever they want. Long as they stay outta my way I could care less. Your the one I want after all." she spat out irritated. She had no beef with anyone else in the mall but him. She had only been given orders to go after him anyways. And so why would she have gone after anyone else? She wasn't that type of person. To use one to get to another. That wasn't how she rolled.
The boy then took off up towards the upper level and seconds later Amy was running after him. He stayed ahead of her in his quest for...well whatever. The kid was fast. She had to give him that one. But it wouldn't matter in the end. She would still take him down. Or at the very least take him before her boss and let him handle it. Either way she didn't care. She only cared about getting the task done at this point.
Of course...getting soaked through to the bone was not part of the plan here! The noise of the alarm blaring echoed throughout the entire mall. Followed by people's screams and the sounds of hurried footfalls as they were running away. Amelia scoffed. That little twerp! He set off the fire alarm! No doubt in an attempt to get all the people away. He obviously held their safety in regards. He really ought to be more worried about his safety then theirs!
She gave a sly smirk as she realized it was just the two of them in the area now. He got into a fighting position and she laughed, "Just you and me." she said as she got into a fighting stance of her own. He wanted to take her on. Then that was fine by her. He just better know what he was getting himself into...

Vince did not smile this time as he did normally, He was fighting another ranger. Vince just stared silently at the woman in front of him, his assailant. He looked around without moving his head to make sure they were alone then poised himself just in case. He was going to get answers but he had to try and be sneaky. He needed the answers that would save his life.
"Why are you trying to kill me!? What have I done to you!? Who are you?!"
Vince's muscles began to tense, He was ready to defend himself. He had someone to live for now. He had Katniss. All he could do was look at the woman. His fists clenched as he fought internally to keep his body still. He could not go off the handle and lose his chance to get answered.
"Future or present? Who sent you here? Why me, Why you, and most importantly what's in it for you?"
Vince then put down his guard but remained ready. He was ready to fight. Maybe just maybe he could save this woman.

It was safe to say that Amelia was not a very happy camper at present.
She was soaked through and through and this kid was being a stubborn idiot. Yes she was totally irked now. She wasn't wearing a smile either as she flat out glared at the boy. It was hard to see him a threatening at the moment, but he would become it. That was the entire point. He may not have been a threat now, but in the future, he would be. And she had to take him out. No matter how wet she was.
She laughed softly as he asked question after question. She could see his muscles tense, see him get into his fighting stance and sense that he was nervous and perhaps even a little...scared maybe. And who wouldn't be? Someone was trying to kill him. Someone he didn't know (as of yet) and had never seen nor heard of before. It would unrattle even her if the roles were reversed--(and thank god they weren't).
"None of that matters. All that matters is that you are my enemy ranger. And I'm supposed to take you out." she snapped back at him. She was never one to tolerate the whole twenty questions game...and especially not when she was soaked and staring down an enemy.
She wouldn't morph. Not yet anyways. She wanted to see what this guy was made of first. She always did love a good hand to hand combat session after all. And besides, she wanted him to be the first to morph anyways. In her eyes, it justified it more. Her lip twitched as he asked even more questions. Again with the questions! What was wrong with him?! Couldn't they just get to the task at hand!?
"All you should be worried about is you." she snapped again as she lunged forward, fists curled and aiming at his chest...
It was on now...

The girl was focused, Vince had to keep on his toes with her. He had no idea what she could do so he had to assume the worst. The girl ran at him and he just nodded and broke into a run to meet her half way. As he grew closer however he broke into a baseball type slide and slid between her legs. He then spun onto his back in a break dancing fashion and then planted himself back onto his feet and sent Three fast spin kicks at her shoulders to try and knock her off her feet. Vince knew one thing about this fight, he had to keep moving. One false move and he was dead.
Vince did a quick jump back and looked at the girl who was trying to kill him and laughed. Even though his life was at steak he had to admit he was having a good time. He had never faced a ranger before so this was a brand new thrill for him. He just grinned but kept his stance and decided to have a bit of fun.
"I have to say, My life has never been threatened by someone so cute before. It's usually ugly old monsters. It's a nice change. So does my beautiful Assassin have a name? I would like to know who is trying to kill me."
Vince then to add just a bit of flair to his words danced in place and spun on his heels like he didn't have a care in the world and like this was just a game to him. He needed to throw the girl off her game. Vince smiled and ran at the girl again and sent some quick jabs at her stomach and sides and then quickly spun on his heels around her to get behind her and try to knock her off her feet with a sweep kick.
"Just because your cute doesn't mean I'm just gonna let ya kill me. Give me your all or your boss will get mad."
Vince then just laughed and smiled and motioned for her to come forward. If he was gonna die he was gonna have fun with it.
