Kelly had her doll in her hands while she made no sound at all so early in the morning, her room was huge and she had it all for herself. Kelly smiled as she got up and walked over to her drawer where she saw her crystal saving bear. Wishing she could us it with the reason she gave it, instead this is what happened to it.

It sat there on her drawer, staring at her with his pink eyes. Kelly giggled and grabbed her Barbie doll running back to her bed sitting down while playing with both her baby doll and her Barbie doll. Her curly hair was all messed up and her thoughts were with the sleeping mr. Mittens in her room and everyone else sleeping.

Chelsea and Kelsey, mommy and daddy, all of them. She loved mommy but she didn’t want to wake her so she got out of bed again putting her dolls down and tiptoed her way to chelsea’s room. Opening the door in silence, she walked into the room. It looked gorgeous. Kelly looked for Chelsea and of course she was still asleep, it was 4 am.

Kelly tiptoed towards Chelsea and tugged her blanket a bit.

Chelsea lay in her bed wide awake. The darkness of the room was broken only by the soft glow of the front porch light and it glowed faintly through the window closest to her bed. To her, the darkness wa a comfort, something that she could fall into and hide. This was a technique that he had used in her...old home when her father would make one of his visits late in the night. She cringed back into her bed, repulsed at that memory.

But, that was in the past now and she was in a better situation now. Tommy, she could not bring herself to call him dad just yet, even though she loved him like one. and Kim had just told her and her sister the night before that they were legally their daughters. While this news did make her very happy, she still held some guilt over her birth parents. No, she corrected herself, he birth mother. Her birth father could rot in hell for all she cared. She could not help but feel as though she betray her by accepting a place in the Oliver family. However, Tommy had took her aside and told her what he mother had thought abut the impending adoption, and that made her feel a bit better, if a little hurt.

So here she lay, safe and secure in a house full of people that loved her, and that was a new concept for her. She had a long way to go, but for once, the future was looking bright. Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw her bedroom door open a crack. All at once, she became terrified. How did her father find her here? How did he get past Tommy? She cringed as far back in her bed as she could, too scared to do anything else. This was NOT happening again! Tommy and Kim said that it wouldn't!

Then, instead of her father coming in, it was Kelly and Chelsea relaxed. The adorable five year old had joined their household just the night before and she was apparently Tommy and Kim's daughter...one that Tommy had no idea existed until recently. Chelsea could only imagine the conversation that followed THAT revelation! Since she was now an official member of the family. that made Kelly her new little sister, and she found that thought oddly thrilling. Smiling, she made room on her bed and patted the empty space. "Come on in honey and sit with me? You can't sleep either?" It seemed as though that this was a time for the sleepless, and Chelsea figured it was a good a time as any to get to know her new little sister.
