The Great Ranger Purge part 1

He had been on his own for a day or so now. Artemis having gone to do something and leaving him here. It was fine though since it gave him a chance to learn more about the place and get a feel for it. But then came the dark feelings. His hatred for good was being pulled roughly in one direction. Something was coming and fast. So he made his way to where the feeling was coming from. He felt excited at the chance to flex his dark powers. To use them against the forces of good. Since he considered them traitors to himself. Past or present even future wielders of good would be his enemy.

He arrived at a battle between brightly colored fighters and monster looking fighters. He could instantly tell them apart. The bright colored ones were guardians. But in a newer form of sorts. That made them the good forces and the monster types the evil ones. He grinned as he moved to a place where he could get a good look at what was going on. He was enjoying seeing the guardians getting beaten. And he had to join in. He felt the urge to put everyone on notice that there was a new evil to contend with.

His sword appeared on his back and he drew it. Closing his eyes he held it with both hands in front of him as he let the dark energy rise. " Dark Guardian arise! " Was his seal of release. His body was covered in an odd armor and he jumped down. Right between two rangers. Both appeared to be red. Though one of them was evil. He stood slowly and laughed a deep and dark toned laugh. " How truly pathetic. Guardians and evil alike are so weak in this day of age. It is a wonder neither side has won against the other. " He spun around with his sword held out, slashing both dark and light at the same instant he heard a voice crying out.

He looked down at a whip that had landed near by and smiled as he found the one that had thrown it. He walked forward watching a woman attack the other from behind. That was dishonorable and dirty. " You have no honor in battle woman! Leave the fighting to the true dark warriors! " He launched forward with his blade up and charged with power. He saw the orange one power down and retaliate. That face! He knew her! Artemis was a guardian?! He let out a cry of anger and landed a step away from the evil woman and slashed up and across. Sending a power strike into her body that would send her flying several feet away. " This one belongs to me! Never touch her again! "

She had been there one moment when Jason had fallen a shock going through her body as she stepped back and swallowed that was when she saw a girl run to him and she backed away giving them space as she closed her eyes. She had stabbed him and now he laid on the ground the green ranger kneeling down on the ground she shook her head that was when some fool dashed at her and attacked a white suite that she recognized and she backed away Tommy? she asked but his voice was not Tommy no he would be at reef side.

As she blocked his blade she heard Eliza and realized she had become a ranger a sadness setting in after a moment but something else had changed as she looked straight at him go and deal with the others I have my own business to fix the tone in her voice had changed considerably in a few moments as she saw Jason struck by lightning and what came next was a surprise as she watched the red ranger emerge from the thing but the girl was still adamant and spoke to Jason she cared about him…she dropped the sword to the ground and stared at it and then destroyed it with her blaster the final hold gone on her.

The next thing she knew she heard someones voice and turned towards Killian and lowered heer head for a few moments but than raised it. She would deal with that later she knew the guilt would come sooner or later but she was needed more than ever right now as he guarded her she rolled her eyes and shook her head and pointed at where Ava was she will need help go to her she said and turned away from Vince again.

I…am going to help she said after a few moments as she walked away from Vince almost in a trance as she went to Eliza and gave a halfhearted smile didn’t your brother forbid you from being a ranger? she asked her an almost teasing but pain was in her voice as she sighed shall we? she offered as she drew the dragon dagger and stood by her old friend.

Eliza ignored most people talking to her though she did 't expect rita to be attacked so badly twice and stabbed not much later. It was like the best thing ever. But eliza sure smiled when kate turned against the baddies. Kate came her way while she kicked and punched her way to a free space.

Being able to rest for a moment she looked at kate and smiled herself. well when i received it he kinda freaked out on alpha and zordon , but no chance he could turn it back. she said with a smile and grabbed her cobra sword and some ninja stars. let's kick some ass and afterwards we'll have an ice cold milkshake. she said with a smile and started to attack some random bad guy throwing some stars in the minions back.

[Ava Elizabeth]

Ava did not know who was who here. Honestly she only knew two rangers here, one she had literally fallen out of a tree for, and now what she thought who’s side he was on, she felt stupid and worried, not knowing what to do at all. This was nothing like she imaged in her life! True just last week she wished for some excitement in her life, but nothing like this! This was just too much! She wanted to talk to Jason, face to face, get advice for what to do, as she hadn’t been in battle before, he in many…

She tried remaining calm in the clearing where the battle took place. Gods she missed the darkness of the green forest…no! She had to concentrate. Ava kept an eye on Jason, worried some, wishing she knew what was going on and what she was doing. She noticed an orange ranger had fallen several feet from her, and quickly to her dismay wanted to reach out and help her. Heck she just wanted this to be over.*Why didn’t I just stay hidden? she thought to herself, but Demeter spoke up. *Why didn’t I just stay hidden?**Because this is another reason I chose you. Embrace it. Be who you were meant to be**[/i][/color] The idea frightened the bright green girl but she knew to quickly she needed to get over it and deal with it later.

She saw a dark creature land in front of them, as she went to go help the now de-morphed ranger. Ava looked small, but with the time she had in the forest, she was strong, and started to help the woman (Artemis) to get her to a safe place. She heard what he said and shook her head, pulling her away slightly. She wouldn’t let him hurt a fellow ranger. “You’ll have to get threw me first!” Demeter had spoken through her, and for a first time in her life, Ava was ready to fight. She drew her sword, ready.

Lord Zedd simply cackled malevolently at Jason, knowing full well that his creation had begun to take hold."Maybe another time, fool. with you infected by the power of that gem, it won't be long until you become completely corrupted by the titan now waiting to be unleashed. For time is not on your side!" he then jumped into the air and landed on the other side of the battlefield.

"Do try to keep up, Olympians... I'm actually getting some excercise from this battle. You might even make me break a sweat if you can pull out your big weapons, though it won't look very pretty for the green one if she has to tame 'Father Time'." Zedd said, thrusting his Z-Staff into the air, sending several lightning bolts cascading from the sky to earth in attempt to goad Ava and Chloe to focus all their attacks on him rather than his wife, his Minion, and his grunts.

But what Lord Zedd said would disturb Ava, being that she would have to stop both Lord Zedd and the Titan Force that was even now begining to rear its menacing head within Jason.

His mind was lost on the woman that had attacked Artemis. He was more concerned for the young woman he cared for and set him free. She had been injured and that he couldn't allow to go further. Then another got in his way. Saying if he wanted her then he would have to fight. His glistening white and black skeletal armor moved slowly. The echo in his voice ringing with each word. " Get out of my way child or i'll destroy you. This one is mine. no one touches her or fights her other than me. Get in my way and you'll find me an opponent you can't stand against. " He stepped forward, his right hand reaching behind him and under the tattered cape that was mid back length and pulled forth a short staff. Once it was out it grew to full length.

When the lightning coursed over the battle field he growled with anger. That was reckless, even if there were many warriors. He was torn now between what he should do. He growled and spun around. His left hand throwing out and unleashing a massive dark energy blast. Nailing Rita and sending her flying. He spun with the staff and stopped an inch from the woman's face that stood between him and Artemis. " Get her out of here. If she dies, or is given any further injury.....i'll spend the rest of my life making you pay for it. " He turned and began walking right for the one with the silver Z staff. This one was a fool and would learn how to conduct battle the right way.

John just watched now as he looked down at Leo. He had dealt with him for now. John just grinned underneath his helmet and looked around for his next target. He listened to Zedd speak about how Jason was going to lose himself to the Titan force and smiled. He just needed to waste more time and then Jason was on the winning team. John quickly ran over and lined up with the mysterious dark creature that had lined up to fight the Green Olympian. She was new so she was easier to fight. This would be fun.

John whistled at Ava and motioned for her to come forth as she pulled out her blade. He pulled out his whip again and smacked it against the ground. He was going to toy with her and make her suffer.

"Didn't anyone tell you that fire burns down a forest! I am gonna burn you to nothing but ash!"

He then quickly ran at Ava and lashed his whip out at her knees to knock her down and then pulled out his blaster and shot a few blasts at her hearing that the new white brat was coming to help.

"More the Marrier! I will cover the ground in green and white at the same time!!"

At this point John didn't have to win. All he had to do was help stall and then one of the rangers he hated would be on their side. Finally a red ranger he liked. He couldn't wait.

[chloe]

Chloe blocked the attacks launched at her and took a small distance from everyone to think straight for a moment. Her eyes slid off to the one close her which was Ava. Ava ran off to some orange ranger who seemed to have stabbed some villain and dropped down wounded.

Chloe made her way over to them and looked at ava.

Go with her, I''ll cover you. she said softly and started slamming into villains close to ava. It was reckless but this girl had a life for heavens sake.

Vince was now in over his head a bit. He saw the Evil green ranger turn good or better in front of his eyes. He then saw the Orange Galaxy ranger get stabbed and go down in front of the girl known as Ava. Vince jerked his head to look at Kat the once Evil green ranger when she called him Tommy but then told him to go help Ava. He looked At Ava and just nodded knowing he would be risking his life. He quickly ran toward her and saw the Pink Olympian fighting her way to Ava. He quickly jumped over her and landed in front of her into the group of Baddies. He just looked at her and stood back to back with her.

"We have to get you to Ava! Come on!"

Vince quickly then pulled out his blaster and his saber and held the saber close to him as a guard and held out his blaster and shot down some of the foot soldiers. He then rammed his shoulder against a few others and took off running for Ava blasting down any foot soldiers that got in his way. He quickly stood next to Ava. He saw her stand tall and strong and smiled under his helmet and held his saber blade out and his blaster out.

He could tell Ava was not a real fighter yet. Vince just looked at the dark Creature ahead of them and then down at the fallen girl behind them and just whispered to Ava.

"Listen to me Ava, The Pink ranger and I will cover you, Get this girl out of here. We can hold this creature off. I know you mean well and can tell Jason means a lot to you. We can't help him now but I swear to you on my parents graves we will get him back. Now get her and Go!"

Vince then turned toward the monster again and gripped the handles of his weapons tightly and grinned underneith his helmet hoping that the pink ranger was coming to his aid soon. He was terrified but he wouldn't let that stop him. He had to Help his friends and team mates. He had to do all he could. Starting by distracting the monster.

"Yo Ugly! Your in trouble now! I don't have parents which means no one will miss me if I go, Which means I have nothing to lose!"

Vince then took off running at the creature slashing at it's chest and then blasting at it's legs to knock it off Balance. He knew he couldn't beat the creature on his own but he could at least be a good distraction.

[Ben Bishop]

As Ben continued to fire his blaster bolts at the silver psycho ranger from his space time defender, the evil Lord Zedd attacked the young ranger with a lightning bolt that he didn't see coming. The next thing Ben knew, all of the cells in his body suddenly felt like they were on fire before he suddenly blacked out from the very intense pain. The young ranger would then fall to the ground his navy blue ranger uniform suddenly disappeared and reappeared in blue flashes of light before finally reverting back to his normal form after hitting the ground. Smoke could be seen rising from Ben's unconscious body as a gold crystal suddenly appeared in his hand that was emitting a dark evil energy.

In Ben's mind, Ben found himself surrounded by darkness before seeing a harsh bright light. Naturally, Ben shielded his eyes with his arms and backed away from the light a voice whispered said "If you want to return to the fight, all you need to do is go into the light". Ben really couldn't tell where the voice was coming from, but that really didn't matter to him since for all he knew, that bright light might be that bright light people sometimes mention before dying. Taking a leap of faith, Ben rushed into the bright light and came to. The second he came to however, the teen was engulfed by a harsh bright light as he slowly got up and once he was standing on his feet, the light faded away revealing a new ranger suit that was similar to the one Jason had. But instead of being black and red, his suit was black and gold.

The power that Ben felt was far greater than the powers his Spacetime morpher provided him and the young ranger felt that he could handle anything that could come his way with it. Ben would look at the silver psycho ranger and cracked his neck twice before saying with a cocky smirk under his helmet "Ready for round two?"

Brendan was focused on Ben, his current opponent, when their little game was interrupted. A quick glance over his shoulder told him all he needed to know as to who had bothered him while he was working. It was Lord Zedd. He was more than a little annoyed that the dark overlord had interrupted him, but it was too late to do anything about it now. It appeared as though the Navy Ranger had been defeated without question. Brendan frowned deeply beneath his helmet at this turn of events. They'd barely managed a warmup for their battle and it was already completely over? How droll a development this was...

But then a glimmering golden crystal materialized in the young man's hand. It was like a beacon of hope for Brendan. If things were still happening to the ranger then maybe a fight could still occur as well. His lips began to curl into a smirk as the gold crystal put a twinkle in his eyes. A blinding light shrouded the incapacitated young man, causing Brendan to shield his eyes with his right hand. His left hand now held his Psycho Silverizer at his side, waiting for something favorable to happen so that their fight might resume. As the light faded there was not a Navy Ranger standing before him, but a Gold one. A gold and black colored suit had been donned by the young man now, one bearing striking resemblance to a certain red ranger that was supposedly going to be taken by darkness to join their side.

When this new Gold Ranger spoke, however, he made it clear that he was not yet ready to join the side of evil. Apparently he still wanted to play. Brendan nodded in response to his question. "I thought you'd never ask," Brendan retorted smugly as he dashed at the new gold ranger with his blade at his side. He swung it upward diagonally as he dashed by Ben's left side, hoping to side swipe him.

[Leo Corbett]

Things were not going well for Leo. As he had charged the Red Psycho Ranger, the other Ranger had lashed out with his whip, managing to wrap it around his neck. As Leo fell to the ground, he heard the other Ranger taunting him about not being able to use the Lights of Orion. Leo struggled to get free, but to no avail. This was not good! He had to get free! But no matter how hard he fought, he couldn't shake the other Ranger's hold. Somebody...please...help....Leo thought as his vision started to dim.

[artemis]

No more trust, no faith, this was her end and she knew it. It was them who didnt know yet. Her sight was gone but. She could hear Killian and it pissed her off, there were better ways for him to find out about her secret, not when she felt like dying right now.

Artemis Opened her eyes and looked at her wound, at leats she tried. Gettinf back up on her feet she ignored people telling her to come back but ahe took off her shirt and bound it around her wiast covering the wound and morphed back going after Leo.

Grabbing her sword she Cut the whip off of his neck and Felt the wound bleed underneath her suit, her morpher had trouble morphing her at all an sh just needed leo to get up. Finally her morpher decided to stop morohing her and so this girl sat in her bra, trying to wake up leo while bleeding herself.

come on leo, you can do this! she said and grabbed a random knife definding leo with her own life.

[jason]

Pain that was what he had going through him at that moment as the darkness threatened to take control of him he had at one time been ready to attack but a moment later he had sank to his knees demorphing a moment later his eyes stared at the ground as he breathed hard in and out what the hell had they done to him he thought his eyes on the ground and he felt his body begin to shake and he stared at the ground. All around him he could hear the fighting around him and clenched his fists at his side.

The voice was whispering thoughts to him none that well suited him and he closed his eyes as he heard Ava’s voice and slowly rose to his feet his eyes closed as he frowned Zedd you made one big mistake he rose his body as strong as it had ever been as darkness rolled around him he took a step forward in his hand the scythe appeared and he clutched it in his hand and tilted his head to the side as he heard the attack. A moment later he appeared in front of the bolts and slowed time and with a wave of the scythe the attacks were sent right back at Zedd. Even now he protected Ava that much was clear.

your mistake Zedd is that I was not born to follow but to lead came a combination of two voices as he felt the darkness swell around him. Yes this was power and he could feel it course through him like lightning he opened his eyes which were a brilliant golden color he smirked so we both agree you will have to be taken out his eyes flashed as the darkness wrapped around him like a blanket and he smirked at the man as when it faded the red ranger was there and as he stood there he tilted his head to the side in amusement.

For so long he had feared this man who stood in front of her his evil had been well known except now all he felt was a coldness that now ran through his veins as he started to walk towards the man known as Zedd I’ll keep you safe stay safe Ava… he said his voice becoming soft as he twirled the scythe and darkness shot out at Zedd.
