"Return of the red Psycho ranger" (Leo)

Ahh, Angel grove the place John was sent to take over. He had one big hitch in this plan however. He had to deal with the power rangers. John was more focused on one color. That color was the color of blood. He was focused on the red rangers. John just stood in the dark shadows of a group of trees far from the water. He laughed a small dark laugh as he pressed the gem on his psycho gauntlet with a grin.

"Psycho power."

He said with a calm voice as he changed into the red psycho ranger. He then let out a loud evil laugh as he summoned a big group of quantrons who began to attack citizens as John took out his blaster and began to blast trees causing fires. He was drawing out the rangers to make his debut. The rangers had thought that the psycho rangers were gone forever and in a way that was true. The old psycho rangers were gone forever, John was the new and improved psycho red. He decided to let the rangers think he was a ghost however until he needed to reveal the big secret.

"Come on rangers! Come protect and serve! Come meet your doom!"

John just laughed as the Quantrons began to cause more and more choas. It was only a matter of time now.

So far, it had been a good day. He had trained a bit with the other Galaxy Rangers that morning before classes, had handed in an assignment that he had thought had been late only to find out it wasn't due yet, and attacks had been relatively few and in-between other than the Stingwinger attack of the other day. Yep, things were going great. Suddenly, a voice broke the stillness of the day. The voice continued, issuing out a challenge to the Rangers. Confused, Leo followed the sound. Who was out there? What villain would choose to announce their presence rather than go with a sneak attack? Wouldn't that have been more strategic? Though, Leo supposed he couldn't complain. As he got closer to the source of the voice, he saw people running away, obviously terrified. What's going on? he wondered. Then he saw the gray beings and his eyes widened. Quantrons! He recognized them from when Astronema had constantly attacked Earth! He jumped into the middle of a group of Quantrons and immediately began fighting them, punching and kicking one then the other. Suddenly, he heard a booming laugh and he turned around. His breath caught and his body went rigid. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! his mind screamed. This wasn't happening! It had be a nightmare or a spell or something! There was no way Psycho Red could be back! A slam from a Quantron knocked Leo out of his shock and he started fighting the beings once more. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched as people continued running. As soon as the last person disappeared, he made a decision.
"Go Galactic!" he shouted. He then maneuvered his way through the Quantrons and towards the Red Psycho Ranger.
"You guys just don't stay dead, do you?" he quipped, trying not to show his fear. He still remembered how strong Psycho Red was. If it hadn't been for Andros...Leo mentally shook himself. He had to stay focused. "If you're going to make a move, make it!"

John just laughed to himself as he saw the red galaxy rangers expression upon seeing him. He was terrified. He had good reason to be. All of the psycho's were supposed to be long gone. Little did the red ranger know, they were. John watched the puny ranger morph and grinned under his helmet as he slowly approached him as the remaining Quantrons ran to his sides. He then just stood with his arms crossed. He was going to unhinge the ranger, egg him on and make his fighting sloppy. He put his hand near his whip as he got ready to draw.

"What's wrong red ranger?! Having a blast from the past?! Oh were all back and new and improved! We have even added to our ranks! Maybe psycho pink will go after your little friend Kendrix again. I wonder if she remember what deaths like. What about your brother? Do you think he remembers? Maybe I will send one of the new psycho's to visit him? What do you think?! Two funerals in one day. Actually better make that three, You will be joining them soon!"

John then took off running his hand on his whip as he unwrapped it and fire engulfed it's length. He quickly lashed out at Leo to take his blade from his belt so he was minus one weapon. When he swung his whip sparks and embers flew from it as he tried to push Leo back. John was going to do more then kill Leo. He was going to make ranger barbaque out of him!

This was not happening. He was not standing at Angel Grove Lake facing one of his worst nightmares. Any minute now, he'd be woken up by a slamming textbook or a loud slam on a desk, Leo was sure of it. But unfortunately, he knew that this was all too real. Once again, he was facing Psycho Red. This can't be happening. We destroyed them, the Ranger thought to himself. However, it seemed like the Psychos were like a bad penny, always popping up when you didn't want them. He dropped into a defensive stance. However, the other Ranger didn't move. Underneath his helmet, Leo's eyebrows furrowed. What was Psycho Red waiting for? Then, Psycho Red began talking, saying that they were back, better and having added to their ranks. He went on, mentioning Kendrix's death and Leo briefly shut his eyes as if to will back the memory the comment had conjured. Psycho Red made another comment, this time about Mike. At the threat of sending a Psycho after him, Leo's eyes flashed. No way was he going to lose Mike again! He'd die first!
"You stay away from him!" he snarled.

Then, the other Ranger began running and Leo quickly pulled out his Quasar Saber. However, before he could succesfully pull it out, Psycho Red pulled out his own weapon---a whip--- and swung it towards him, knocking the Quaser Saber to the ground as well as hitting his wrist with a shower of sparks.

John just grinned as Leo lost his grip on his quasar saber. He the lashed at him a few more times and then quickly pulled out his blaster and shot at Leo. He needed to keep his saber away from him. As he blasted at Leo he used his whip to scoop of the saber and then rewound the whip and put it to his belt and held the sword at the ready. He was going to kill the ranger with his own weapon! As John barraged the ranger with laser blasts he came up with a more devious idea. He decided to throw the saber up the hill a ways into a tree and then stopped shooting and pulled out his whip again.

"You want your precious quasar saber? Come get past me and come and get it!"

John then grinned as he slashed down at the ground catching the surrounding area a blaze. He wanted to watch the ranger suffer. He wanted to make the ranger beg for a quick death!

"Come on ranger! Do you want my fellow psycho's to tell kendrix and your brother how you died a coward?! Begged for a quick death?"

John then ran through the flames looking like a demon from hell as he heard screams from afar as the fire began to spread slowly. He lashed out at the ranger again going for his neck so he could enjoy choking the life out of his foe. It would be over soon and when it was, as a reward Astronama would let John see his brother and sister again. The only ones he truly loved.

As soon as he dropped his saber, Leo went to grab it only to watch in horror as the Red Psycho Ranger used his whip to snatch it away and then threw it up into a tree. No! his mind screamed. How was he supposed to defend himself now? This was the thought that ran through his mind as the other Ranger's slashes made contact. Wait a minute. What am I thinking? I still have my blaster, he reminded himself and then quickly grabbed his blaster and let out a shot, aimed at the other Ranger's chest. Hopefully, it would hit, giving him a chance to think of something. Red Psycho set fire to the surrounding area. Oh, great. Now I have to figure out a way to put out the fire too, he silently griped. Luckily, this was one of his light days where he only had a couple of morning classes, and was already done with them so he didn't have to worry about being late for a class.

Psycho Red spoke again, taunting him, asking him if he wanted Mike and Kendrix to hear from the other Psychos how he had begged for a quick death. Do I look like someone who would beg? Leo thought to himself. Red Psycho began running towards him and Leo let out a barrage of shots, hoping to slow him down. Unfortunately, it was to no avail. When the other Ranger got close enough, he placed his hands around Leo's throat. However, Leo managed to raise his Blaster to the other Ranger's chest. He he placed his finger on the trigger.
"Taking you with me," he managed to rasp out. Then, he pressed the trigger, hoping that it'd force the other Ranger to let him go.

John just grinned as Leo was resorted to using his blaster. John grinned watching the ranger get more and more stressed. John then felt the blaster against his chest and heard Leo say that he was going to take John with him. John quickly jumped back as he felt the trigger pull and quickly spun and gripped his whip and swung it out at Leo's head to crack through the helmet of his suit to harm him. As he finished his attack however he began to hear crying. John on reflex turned his head and saw the fire getting closer to the young child and his mother and the thick branch they were under was about to fall on them.

Without thinking he turned his back to Leo and took off running as the branch began to break. As it began to fall John jumped and kicked it out of the way. He then scooped up the child and took his mothers hand and got them out of the flames. He knew Leo would begin to get suspicious so he quickly dashed to the tree where his Quasar saber was and pulled it out of the tree and looked back at Leo.

"We will finish this Later! I think I will keep this as a token of our meeting. I will be back Red ranger!"

John then teleported away in a flash of red light. Moments later he was standing on a sky scraper demorphed with a portal behind him the quasar saber in hand the wind blowing through his hair. He knew he would be punished for saving that mother and her child but for once. He just didn't care. Only one thought crossed his mind as he entered the portal. He would do it again.

As soon as Leo pulled the trigger, Red Psycho jumped out of the way, escaping the blow. Dang it! Leo thought to himself. He had figured that would work. The other Ranger's whip flew through the air and Leo quickly ducked, missing the brunt of the attack, though he was grazed on the side of the head. Suddenly, crying reached his ears. He turned to see a young boy and his mother who were standing beneath a large branch. Leo started for them, and then got the surprise of his life: the Red Psycho Ranger ran towards them, kicked the falling branch away, scooped the child up in his arms, took the mother's hand and then got them to safety. What in the world? Leo thought. Was he actualy seeing this? Was the Red Psycho Ranger actually helping them? The other Ranger hadn't acted like this the last time they had faced off. Could this Ranger actually be...human? He shook his head, breaking himself out of his reverie, and then headed for the tree where his Saber rest. However, Red Psycho got there first and snatched it away. Before Leo had time to react, the other Ranger stated that he'd keep the Saber as a token and then teleported out.
"Power down!" Leo commanded and within seconds, he was back in his civilian clothes. "Oh, man. This is not good," he sighed and then ran off to see what he could do about the fire.
