He stayed with her as she spoke about how she had become lost in the woods and saved. This was a story he thought as he listened her he nodded quietly and hugged her as she finished and looked down at the rabbit and smiled softly he had never seen one so at peace but he didn’t want to ruin that moment as he leaned back and relaxed slowly and then she said something that caught his attention…ranger could she be one of them? The thought surprised him as he didn’t know if she was or what team she was on if she was.

you’re a power ranger? he asked carefully knowing he didn’t want to scare her off. The two were becoming friends and he didn’t want to upset her. Maybe she was one of the new ones that had not yet been known. He was not in his area either but he shrugged it off and brushed his hair from his eyes and took a breath. Even now he relaxed somewhat around her maybe this was for the best that he had found her and the fact was that he did feel safe to talk with her as he looked down at the ground for a moment as he paused can you keep my secret? he asked and reached behind him.

As he pulled his arm back he smiled and held his morpher in his hands I’m one to he told her after a moment his voice soft as he put it away. Maybe he would have something to tell Tommy when he would get home it could be interesting it is nice to find someone else who is one…I’m glad we met Ava he told her in a kind voice as he gently squeezed her hand and relaxed.

Okay, so he thought she was crazy. Then again she thought she was crazy for telling a complete stranger her secrets. It was Demeter that spoke up to her at this time, the first in a time she suppose. **Your not crazy dear. I know your thoughts, you trust him, and that’s all that matters. Who knows…maybe he’s the one who can bring you out of this hidden world of ours…** Ava looked down at the bunny in her lap, now thinking she was foolish. She did not want to leave here, this was all she ever had known, and whatever had happened all those years ago before she found Demeter was nothing but a faded star in the distance, to forgotten.

She wanted to explain but in a since couldn’t really considering it was still a mystery to herself. The girl hid slightly behind her hair, having it fall gently in front of her face, as to hide her eyes. Was she foolish? *Yes…yes I am…who I was I kidding…no wonder I’m out here alone…[/i] She thought, then hearing in the back of her mind that Demeter cleared her throat. *Sorry,*[/i] she thought quickly. Ava was never alone, and she knew that, it was just there was something missing in her life, that felt like it was finally being filled…by this man in front of her… she had no idea…Ava nodded looking up. Obviously she could keep a secret; she was the only one out here, other than Demeter, who she trusted with all her heart and soul.

The crystal around her neck glowed a faded bright green and then went back to normal as Ava’s confused with herself eyes, brightened. So he could be trusted. She was shocked, happy, relived, and excited all at once. *Fait?* she asked Demeter softly in her mind. She could see the goddess as if she was giving a simple smile. **Maybe child…maybe…** Ava felt as if Demeter was now hiding of secret of her own, but knew better and decided to wait for her, when the time came to revel it.

She had gone quiet as she seemed to be having a whole new conversation but the question was with whom? He thought as she seemed to be out of it but he gave her room and looked around at the garden and smiled “did you plant all of this? he asked her after a few moments as he sighed quietly. Maybe they would be able to build on this or at least that was what he hoped that things would level out and maybe it would be okay in the end.

After a few moments he found himself sitting back down by her and smiled so your hair…is that from Demeter?” he asked her after a few moments curiosity getting the best of him. He brushed her hair behind her ear and smiled I think it maybe my favorite part of you besides your eyes he admitted after a few moments as he sighed softly and relaxed near her his arms wrapping around her and holding her close.

At peace he knew that he would have to go in a few days when he would have no other choice but maybe by then the two would be close enough to see if there was a future if not maybe they would be friends. how do you like living out here? It must get lonely only a rabbit to stop every day? he asked after a moment and relaxed again just enjoying the thought of holding her.

Ava could hear Demeter laughed, as a mother would laugh at her child for being, well childish. **Dear, would you please just ignore me for awhile? You have a guest, and given to his confused reaction; keep it up and he will think you are crazy.**[/i][/color] She blinked slightly, and looked down as her cheeks began to pink-in with a blush, on her face. She nodded at his question. “I did…” she replied.

Ava nodded again. “Yes it is. Ever since I found this,” she showed him the crystal now that she knew she could trust him, “It turned…well green. Demeter said it was my heart, mind and spirit that turned it. But then again no one would have found the crystal otherwise.” She felt surprisingly relaxed sitting there with this perfect, repeat perfect stranger or Jason was his name. She was not scared as she should be and something felt…meh she didn’t even know, right? She could feel her cheeks turning pink again, as she looked down. This had to be a dream, or at least she felt it was.

“It can be. ..Yes its relaxing and peaceful, but right before you showed up I honestly was beginning to think that there has to be more then this out there…then I fell..” she replied with a shrug as the bunny hoped out of her lap and began to hop around the small porch. “But I guess its not to bad,” she heard Demeter clear her throat in the back of her mind. “but it is all I know, so why not have it be perfect.” she smiled.

As she explained that she had found the crystal and what it had done he paused and gave a small nod. The thought of her being insane going away as quickly as he looked into her eyes. He had never been one that would have cared for Greek myths but he did enjoy what he did know Demeter as in…the Greek goddess? he asked her after a few moments his eyes finding hers. Maybe it was his curiosity that had won him at that moment he was fascinated by her and it showed as he looked into her eyes and smiled.

Reaching behind his back he pulled out his old power morpher which held the gold lion coin I know how it feels to be a ranger…I was the original red ranger from Angel Grove” he explained after a few moments and bit his lip Now though I am the gold same team just years later he paused as he put it away “so we have a few things in common it would seem he told her after a few moments.as he sighed quietly.

Perfect? Maybe she did have it good out here where she would be free and happy no issues with life where it could take them as he sighed quietly and took a breath. Maybe he would be able to help her in one way or another that was his hope at least maybe I may be of some use then and able to help if you like he told her in a soft voice and smiled his arms around her and holding her close for once he felt safe for the first time in a long time.

Ava looked up, his voice seemingly interested of maybe a familiarity of the Green Greek goddess. She nodded gently as the rabbit hoped back into her lap, nuzzling his head in her hand wanted to be petted. **I think he’s jealous,**[/i][/color] she heard Demeter laugh a little, as Ava smiled petting the little white rabbit. “I can tell in your tone…and your eyes you know her some, but you don’t seem to found of Greek myths?”

She listened to his ranger story. Not that she had one herself, and nodded. “I’m not much of a ranger…Never been in a battle…”she admitted, but not in an envious way. Her voice showed how much she appreciated what he had done in his past. As he spoke, she found herself being enchanted and memorized like she couldn’t explain. Looking down she nodded. “So it would seem……”


“Help?” she couldn’t help but ask looking up into his eyes.

Greek myths he had wondered about them when he had been younger. Each story had a reason behind it, every god and goddess that had come along he paused at her question not as much as I should know I did some projects years ago in school she explained as he looked at the ground and took a breath and slowly looked at her as she asked why he would help he gave her a reassuring smile.

you need someone that can show you to show you there’s more to this world…that it’s not just one big forest…ide like to help he told her as he stared into her eyes and took a breath as he felt that he could look into them forever and never want to look away from her at that moment or any other it would seem he was hooked hard for her and the green hair that fell from her head.

Moving forward he stared into her eyes and moved forward gently brushing her hair from his eyes he smiled and kissed her gently brushing his lips against hers in a soft motion . a few seconds later his arms slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a gentle smile as he waited to see what she would say and how she could respond to all of this will you let me help you? he asked her barely above a whisper as he continued to hold her.

Ava nodded, her green hair brushing her shoulder. “That’s understandable…” she replied after a few minutes. School….it was not something she remembered much of….heck it had to be 14 years since she went to school, of course she knew some things, the people who raised her in this cabin and Demeter helped her with that. She tucked a loose piece of hair behind her head, surprised that Demeter hadn’t said anything at the comment; but didn’t show emotion at that thought.

Her heart began to race, something it never had done before in her life; that she remembered. It scared her but it didn’t. Her green eyes shown as she looked at him. She was about to ask if he was up for a challenge about it before…

She relaxed as he seemed to wrap an arm around her. Kissing her lips….her first kiss. She wanted to ask Demeter what to do? What should she do? No answer but an impulse or erg had her kiss him back softly, whether it was Demeter making her do it, or her self’s will she had no idea, but she closed her eyes taking it in; Falling for this man who saved her from a nasty fall. She nodded at his question now wondering…

What else is out there other then this place?
