she wears a variety of outfits, all of them only having one thing in common. silver. be it silver in her clothes or shoes, silver jewelry, whatever. she is never without something silver. aside from that, she wears a lot of black, blue, and gold as well, the four colors accentuating each other well.

Overview: hayley is reserved but friendly. she's not afraid to speak her mind when she feels it's important enough. she likes music and sports, preferring to be outside more often than not. she does have her days when she'll just sit around in the house or something though.

but she's still a pretty typical girl, in some ways. she likes romance and cuddling up next to someone, taking aimless walks and holding hands. she cares more about the sweet and sentimental things, rather than the more sensual things, when it comes to romance though. she'd much rather hold hands and cuddle that than kiss every few minutes.

she also likes her food sweet. or, really, she likes sweet foods more than your regular food. chocolate, candy, cakes. she's a sucker for an ice cream cone. just like she's a sucker for hugs.

but like all good things, the warm and fluffy stuff has to have a down side. she's really stubborn and wont back down when she's set her mind on something. and despite how friendly she is, she still rather reserved. she keeps personal thing as just that, personal.

though she sometimes wishes she had someone to cuddle up with, she's generally happy as she is. single. because it's better than letting someone get close and then having them rip your heart out. she doesn't trust easily at all, which makes it hard to form any real relationship with her, let alone anything romantic.

the two years when she was being trained to be one of master xandred's warriors pushed away her true personality though. it made her even more distant, which made it all the more difficult for the rangers to get to her and make her see that she didn't belong with the side she was on.

she still has trust issues, of course, but she's working on opening up to the samurai rangers. little by little.

Overview: thomas allen reid (hayley's father) was born and raised in america. after highschool, he traveled to england to attend college. there, he studied psychology and sociology, much like he would have back home. his reason for studying in england was the experience.

emma victoria hughes-reid (hayley's mother) was born and raised in liverpool, england. all through high school and college, she studied business. she participated in work study programs that allowed her to get in a little travel here and there.

thomas and emma met in college, during one of the business classes they shared. there was a certain chemistry between them and after becoming friends they moved up to dating. it was off-and-on for a while but eventually, he moved in with her in order to reduce their hosing costs and spend more time together. it wasn't long before they were married and decided to buy a house.

the house was pretty average. it looked pretty much the same as all the others on the street. the yard was fenced though, a trampoline in the backyard when they bought the place. an open floor plan, three bedroom and two and a half baths.

their first and only child was hayley emma reid. though they'd both been hoping for a boy, neither was disappointed once they took a look at her. realizing that she was perfect. to them at least. and they did a great job of raising her, too.

her mother was a stay-at-home mom, both of them supported by her father who managed a job with the mi5. life was pretty good. she got the majority of what she wanted and she got all the love and attention she could handle.

it wasn't until she was fourteen that she got into sports. martial arts and soccer, specifically. she caught on to both pretty quickly, though it took a lot of practice before she was any good.

when she was sixteen, she was taken from her home. her parents, as well as liverpool and even the united kingdom as a whole, did everything they could to find her. but to no avail.

over the next to years she was trained in the samurai arts. and already having knowledge of martial arts boosted her progress greatly. but she wasn't being trained like the other samurai were. her training began with a good brainwashing. to keep her loyal. to master xandred.

eighteen is when she finally reserfaced. in colorado springs, colorado. with a samuraizer, a spin sword, a few samurai disks, and the element of darkness at her fingertips.


because of her time in the netherworld, she doesn't remember much about her life before. she has a lot of memories, but all of the faces and voices are too blurry to make out. the only thing she knows for sure is that she's british, thanks to the accent she carries when she talks.
