Brief Overview: five foot five and a half inches tall, adelaide is shorter than the average twenty-six year old year old female. her blonde hair usually falls in curls, though she sometimes straightens it out. it's rare, but every now and then she'll dye her hair, usually black or red, maybe a mixture of the two. her hair falls past her shoulders, layered and cut so that it frames her face.

her eyes used to be a mossy green color, but have darkened to a chocolatey hazel hue. her nose is small and celestial shaped. her mouth is thin and nearly always set in a small frown. her ears are small and rounded.

her skin is tanned slightly, fair and clear. she doesn't wear make-up like most women seem to do and she has a lean and slender build. she is ambidextrous, which can come in handy sometimes.

because of her adventurous nature when she was younger, she has a few small scars here and there. one scar, on her left shoulder blade, is much larger and more noticeable than the rest. she got it from a rather serious bicycle accident when she was eight. the rather large gash was stitched up and now only the scar remains.

when she was twelve, her appendix burst and she was rushed to the hospital. she now has the scar from that incident to show for it. on the outer side of her right ankle, you can find a birthmark that, strangely enough, resembles a phoenix tail.

she does dress up from time to time, though it's rare that she does so. for special occasions, or when she's feeling particularly girly, she'll wear a dress or a skirt with a nice dress shirt.

like is common amongst the power rangers, she wears a lot of her color. orange. usually, the color is incorporated into her tops and her shoes, but she does wear orange shorts and hats and such from time to time as well. even though she's no longer a ranger.

warm weather attire: when it's warm out, she can be found in jeans or shorts, usually with a loose top and sometimes a beanie. if it's super hot, she'll wear a skirt, but that isn't an often occurrence. her footwear varies between flip-flops, tennis shoes, flats and boots.

cold weather attire: when it's cold outside, she tends to wear jeans or pants. her top varies between tee-shirts and sweater tops. she usually has on a beanie and a pair of gloves as well. she also wears a jacket with a large hood and white furry lining (though not real animal fur), always with a plaid design though the color depends on what else she's wearing. sometimes the jacket is all blacks and grays, sometimes it's different shades of orange, and sometimes it's a mix of the two. her footwear mostly consists of boots, though he does sometimes wear tennis shoes.

in-between weather: when the weather is cool and comfortable, she wears jeans and a tee shirt most of the time. she has an orange hoodie that she can often be found wearing. she usually sticks to tennis shoes during this kind of weather, though she'll sometimes wear her boots or flats instead.

jewelry: her ears are each pierced in four places, two per earlobe and two up the side of each ear as well. she almost always wears two small silver hoops in each earlobe, rarely bothering to take them out. In addition to the hoops, she fills the other four holes with small silver cuff earrings. however, she doesn't always wear the cuffs.

the left side of her nose is also pierced. she keeps a small silver stud there.

she has two chains around her neck. the first is a long silver chain, upon which you can find her house key and her car key, both engraved with a phoenix. since she only has the two, she figured the necklace was a much simpler and safer place for the two keys. the second necklace is a much shorter golden chain with a phoenix pendant on it. she found the pendant at the mall not long after becoming a power ranger and she couldn't pass up the chance to buy it.

two silver bracelets can be found on her left wrist. on her right wrist, she wears an orange watch and two rubber bracelets. on of the bracelets is orange and has 'phoenix' written on it in black. The other is an orange and black tye-dye type color.

Overview: there are two sides to adelaide. there's her usual stoic and reserved side, then there's her soft and sweet side. the latter side being seen very rarely and usually only by people she trusts and sometimes her students.

courageous and determined, it could be said that she doesn't fear anything. the truth is, though, that she just wants people to think that of her. she's honest and finds it difficult to tell a good and convincing lie. realistic, she doesn't usually think outside the box and tends to go with the simplest method of achieving whatever goal she happens to have. she's intelligent and observant and she usually stays alert no matter where she is. quick, calm, and resilient, she doesn't give in but she will run from a battle she knows she can't win. being as determined as she is though, she'll stick around in a fight if there's even the smallest chance she'll succeed.

she likes quite places and enjoys reading things like science fiction novels and just about any manga she can get her hands on. she absolutely loves anime and video games and rock music is something she listens to quite often while she does other tasks. she's a sucker for sweets, especially chocolate, and her favorite colors are orange and black. spaghetti is her favorite food of all time and she prefers it with extra sauce. she has a strange attraction to canines because of their soft fur and she secretly adores plushies (which she has quite a few of).

some of her darker traits include being rebellious. she doesn't like taking orders and she doesn't like others looking down on her. distant and guarded, she tends to keep quite and is suspicious of the people around her. she's very stubborn and doesn't always let go of her ideas and feelings. she can be a bit impatient with things. she is a bit clumsy at times, a little naive about some things, and is prone to slight moodiness from time to time.

she thinks rap music is stupid and pointless and she's not a fan of bitter foods. crowded areas are usually avoided by her and she really doesn't like vegetables, though she still eats them anyway. not being taken seriously just because of her age and/or stature really gets on her nerves and she hates pink and yellow because they are too bright. she doesn't really like cats even though they have soft fur but she doesn't mind them too much either.

on another note: She's pretty laid-back a lot of the time and her stoic face tends to give the impression that she's grumpy but that usually isn't the case at all.

now for her softer side. as rare as it is to witness her softer side, it is still there. she's reluctant to show just how sensitive she is and it's only after gaining her trust that she'll even consider showing her inner colors. deep down, she's sweet and caring with an affectionate and thoughtful nature. her love of kids and plushies, if you were ever lucky enough to find out about the latter, is proof that this side of her exists which is why she keeps that secret so heavily guarded

Overview: jeremiah temple (adelaide's father) was born and raised in toronto, canada. after graduating from high school, he attended college there. in college, he studied business, sociology, and psychology. he often participated in work study programs and even before he graduated he was assured a high ranking business executive position. one of his work study programs sent him to stone canyon, california and when he was 27 he moved there for work. he continued taking classes at the nearby college.

kadence rae-temple (adelaide's mother) was born and raised in stone canyon, california. all through high school and college, she studied business and health care. she participated in work study programs that allowed her to travel a bit, ending up at angel grove memorial hospital a few times and turtle cove medical clinic even more. after college, she went to medical school and then her career kicked off.

jeremiah and kadence met in college, during one of the business classes they shared. there was a certain chemistry between them and they were inseparable from the moment they met. eventually, she moved in with him in order to reduce their hosing costs and spend more time together. it wasn't long before they were married and moved into a larger home, one that was big enough to start a family in, in turtle cove.

the house wasn't anything too fancy. it sat between two other houses that looked similar to it and it had a fenced in yard with a pool in the back. it was a four bedroom place with four full baths. the master suite was downstairs while the other two bedrooms were upstairs. it had a living area, dining room, kitchen, and a den. it also had a very open floor plan.

their first child was a girl. they named her adelaide phoenyx, after her mother and great grandmother. adelaide had a pretty average life, considering her father was 29 when she was born and her mother was only 21. all the same, they did a great job of providing for her despite still attending school.

one day, when she was four, adelaide was riding her bike out in front of her house. there were a few other kids riding around too, since it was the middle of the day. her attention was pulled away towards a car that was driving by and her front wheel hit a crack in the sidewalk. she fell and scratched up her right knee and elbow. that's when she first met her direct neighbor, maurice. he was ten at the time.

another baby arrived when adelaide was four, her little sister. at first, she wasn't all too happy about the addition but she warmed up to the baby pretty quickly.

when she was five she got interested in martial arts, thanks to maurice. the eleven year old boy became something of a mentor to her, helping her with school work and occasionally teaching her a little martial arts on the side.

one day, when she was eight years old, she was cycling with a few of her friends from school. everything was smooth at first and she was having fun hanging out with her three friends. the fun kind of ended, though, when one of her friends fell off of his bike. things might have been fine if he hadn't fallen towards her. when her friend bumped into her, she lost control of her bike and fell off herself. the only difference was, she fell over the side of the bike path. the fall wasn't too far, but she got pretty scratched up on the way down. the worst injury that came out of the accident was a nasty gash in her left shoulder blade.

a trip to the hospital later and she was patched up and feeling perfectly fine again. sure, she cried a little when it happened and all that, what eight year old wouldn't have? but still, in the end she was just fine and she doesn't blame her friend for it at all. she figures that he felt guilty enough about it for the both of them. and besides, she can't really hold a grudge or anything like like, not when it was one of her friends.

when she was ten years old, her mother died giving birth to a third child. the first and only son of the family. after her mother's death, she became even more distant than she was before. this put a bit of a strain on her relationships with her school friends. she also resented her baby brother for a while after it happened, until maurice helped her realize that it wasn't her fault

after that, she and her two younger siblings didn't see much of their father, since he was working so hard to support the four of them. they did spend a lot of time with him on the weekends though, which made up for that, even if only a little.

as if all of that wasn't enough, all the memories of her past lives came back to her. the memories of animus and the reincarnation kite. her genius was recognized around this time as well. though she'd always been much smarter than others her age, her quiet nature kept just how much smarter hidden. she also made sure not to show how smart she was because she wanted to stay in the same classes as her friends.

After all of her memories were unlocked though, she stopped caring about that. instead, she did all of her work to the best of her abilities and she stopped spending time with most of her friends.

when she was twelve her appendix ruptured. once again she found herself in the hospital being stitched up. this time was a bit different though. because the stitches were in her abdomen, she wasn't allowed to get up and move around very much for a while, which she found really boring. the scars not extra noticeable, like the one on her shoulder, but if you look for it it's also not hard to spot.

she graduated high school when she was twelve as well, thanks to showing off how smart she was. in actuality, she did it because she wanted to get away from everyone. wanted to leave school behind her and focus more on her martial arts.

she got her phoenix, condor, and buffalo crystals when she was thirteen. she found the animals in a dream one night and when she woke up there was a glow coming from her body. the three crystals came from her chest. she knew what it meant, though she hoped they wouldn't be needed.

despite being the quiet kid that hardly talked to anyone, she was very active. she played soccer and tennis and spent a lot of time with maurice learning martial arts. she enjoyed spending some time by herself so that she could read of write or even sit there and draw. from fifth grade to tenth grade, things didn't really change much for her. she still played soccer and tennis and she was still taking time to work out and practice her martial arts.

she's eighteen now, still training with maurice and spending more time with her siblings than ever. knowing what they all really are has given them a bond that no one else could ever understand. she traveled with her sister to princess shayla, waking her and sending out the call. the two adopted ranger powers in order to fit in with the others, herself orange and her sister green.

her brother, who's still coming into his own memories and powers, didn't come with them but they know it won't be long before he joins them.
