Brief Overview: tall dark and handsome. that's a good way to describe dimitri. he may not be the tallest guy around, but his height is good enough to gain attention. he stands at five foot ten and a half, his one hundred forty-five pounds consisting mostly of muscle.

he has black hair, kept short and a little bit shaggy. he has deep, dark chocolate brown eyes. his skin is rather tanned, having indian blood in his veins.

he usually just throws something on, usually something very comfortably and casual. darker clothing. he usually wears dark jeans and a somewhat tight tee shirt. he keeps black wrist bands on both wrists, hiding the scars he still has from cutting himself. he wears either tennis shoes or converse most of the time, though he can also be seen in combat boots.

he can also be found wearing beanies a lot, as well as a pair or headphones or earbuds. his messenger bag holds his electronics, money, and various other things.

he has a tattoo on his upper right arm, a tribal wolf in a circular shape. the tattoo has been in his family for generations, passed on from father to son at the age of 16. kind of like a coming-of-age thing. it's just too bad he's not a wolf himself.

Overview: dimitri is very sporty. he loves sports and martial arts, plays the piano very well, and is very artistic. he's quite smart, though he doesn't usually show just how smart. his favorite sport is soccer and he often plays tennis in his spare time. he writes and draws a lot, a big fan of fanart and fanfiction, though he doesn't really read it too much.

he's honest and trustworthy, though he doesn't let people in very easily. even though he can be very thoughtful, it doesn't often show. he usually keeps to himself. still, sometimes it shows. like when he's at work or talking to his close friends.

like everyone, though, he has bad traits. he's very stubborn and reserved and he hides his emotions from others. he can be very serious, too serious even, because of his martial arts and pai zhuaq training. because of this, he can be cold towards people, even more if he doesn't like them.

he can hold a grudge, for sure, and he can hold it for a long time. he doesn't let things go easy, especially if it was something that hit him hard. despite how smart he is, he hates history because it bores him. he often pretends like he doesn't know things, letting others work things out themselves. he sometimes gets people talking about whatever problem they're having and they end up working it out on their own.

he also has some traits that associate him with a certain animal spirit. he's fearless (or at least acts like it), assertive (sometimes verging on aggressive), and tenacious. he's good at whatever he chooses to do because he doesn't give himself any other alternatives.his strength, speed, and toughness are his best fighting qualities.

it's these traits that make him who he is. the golden coyote and jungle fury gold ranger. as a power ranger, he does his absolute best to protect any- and everyone that needs protecting, be them civilians or other rangers.

he's sort of a big brother figure to most people younger than himself, especially in the case of younger children. he might not come of as sweet and caring but he loves kids and he can be quite sensitive.

Overview: dimitry blaise (dim's father) was born and raised in southern california. he was one in a long line of native-americans, with near pure native blood. he went to school there, all the way through college. he was always interested in the military and decided at an early age to join and serve. he was also very into martial arts and anything like it, even participating in tournaments and the like. when he graduated from college near the top of his class, he immediately headed off to the military though.

amira cruise-blaise (dimitri's mother) was also born and raised in southern california. she was also native-american, though she had much less native blood. her aim was the medical field and she studied business and health care in college. like any top student, she participated in work study programs that allowed her to travel a bit.

dmitry and amira met when they were young, childhood friends who spent a lot of time together. they were childhood sweethearts and got engaged when they were only eighteen. they married at twenty-one, only months before dmitry left for the military. while he was away, she went to medical school to kick off her own career. dmitry used the majority of his early money to buy them a house so that they could start a family.

it was nothing too fancy. it sat between two other houses that looked similar to it and had a fenced in yard with a pool in the back. it was a three bedroom place with three full baths. the master suite was downstairs while the other two bedrooms were upstairs. it had a living area, dining room, kitchen, and a den. it also had a very open floor plan.

though the couple wanted a family, they waited until dmitry's time with the military was done. he retired a bit early, at the age of 31. their first child was born when they were 32. they named their son dimirti auguste, after his father and grandfather. growing up, he pretty much kept to himself. he preferred things that way and he liked spending as much time with his father as he could.

dimirti spent most of his social time with his father, learning any- and everything he could about what his father did and had done. when he was five, him and his parents started traveling around. they traveled all over the place, staying in each one for a few months before moving on to another.

then, when he was seven, one of his mother's friends died giving birth. he was still in england at the time but he and his family immediately flew back to go to the funeral and help the family with the death.

a few months later dimitri and his family went back to england. he wasn't particularly close with the family, so he didn't mind leaving and going back to traveling around.

him and his family moved around a lot after that. they spent time just about everywhere. russia, germany, china, japan. they went to france and italy. they didn't make it back to the states until after he turned fourteen.

over the next year, spent living in their old place, a few key things happened for dim. first. he attended an actual school.he enrolled as a junior after taking a placement test.it meant he'd graduate early, which he liked.

second. his mother was diagnosed with a rare disease and the doctor only gave her another five years to live. it hit everyone pretty hard, especially dim, but she told him not to let that get in the way of his dreams.

a few days after his fifteenth birthday, he was asked to attend the secret pai zhuaq temple in ocean bluff. it being secret, dim couldn't tell his family exactly what he was going to ocean bluff to do. but even with the lack of information he was able to give, both of his parents told him to go.

even though he didn't want to leave them, especially with his mother being sick, he went.

he spent the next four years training at the temple, learning the ways of the pai zhuaq. at sixteen, dim got word that he had a baby brother. it came as a pretty big shock but he was more than happy to hear the news. especially since his mother seemed so excited about it. when he was eighteen, he was only able to talk to his mother as she was dying, unable to leave the temple. he was allowed to spend the next few days alone in his room but then he went back to his training.

when his days at the academy were done, the first thing he did was visit him mothers grave. he sat there for hours, in the rain, before going to see his father and brother. both were doing surprisingly well, which dim was grateful for.

since his father was always so busy with work, dim decided to take care of his brother. when he moved back to ocean bluff, the little tyke went with him. they visit their father as often as they can, though, happy to show him that they're both doing well.

now, along with watching out for his five-year-old brother, dim also has to deal with being a power ranger. he manages well enough, since his brother's in school and can hang around jungle karma pizza with fran whenever dim has things to take care of.
