Personality:

Adam is a kind man who has the tendency to under estimate himself when comparing himself to the other rangers. This is because he sees himself as an average ranger and due to this modesty, he hasn't lived up to his full potential for most of his time as a ranger. If he did live up to his potential from the very beginning, then he'd probably be as great as Jason or even Tommy.

History:
Adam was born in Stone Canyon California and as a kid he was often picked on and left out which made him lose self-confidence. Eventually, Adam started taking martial arts which made him more self confident. During his time living in Stone Canyon, Adam became friends with Rock and Aisha. The three would then go to Angel Grove to compete in the Team Ninja Competition and met the rangers after saving a baby. They faced the rangers in the final round of the competition and won which caught the attention of Lord Zedd. The three friends were captured by Goldar and were brought to a cave where Goldar unleashed an evil snake that could make them permanently evil so that they could be Lord Zed's Dark Warriors.

Adam and his friends attempted to escape and when all hope seemed lost, a morphed Tommy, Billy and Kimberly saved them. After the battle, Tommy and Kimberly had to take off Billy's helmet due to an injury he was given by the snake Unknown to them, Adam and his friends were watching from the entrance of the cave where they learned their the identities of the three rangers. They were then transported to the Command Center where they learned the identities of the other rangers and were sworn to secrecy before being sent back to Rock Canyon.

Unknown to Adam this event was the beginning of something that was life changing. When some of the rangers had to leave Angel Grove to attend a peace conference, Adam was chosen to replace Zach as the black ranger. Shortly after becoming the new black ranger, Scorpina disguised herself as a girl named Sabrina and tried to alienate Adam from the other group. Despite the fact that Sabrina was rude to Aishia, she tried to like her for Adam. But she still didn’t trust her and because of this, she was able to help Adam in the park when Sabrina finally attacked him. While Adam did survive the attack, he became less confident in himself until he caught the attention of a girl that Aishia tried to get him together with.

Adam would then truly be tested after Goldar used the Mirror of Regret which made Adam watch all of the times he was picked on making his resolve waiver before the realization that he wasn’t weak anymore. After a few battles with Lord Zedd and Rita, Ivan Ooze was released from his prison and destroyed the Command Center, which left Adam and the rest of the rangers powerless, and Zordon’s time warp was broken in the attack. The rangers would then go to Phados where they met Dulcea. Dulcea would then unlock their Ninjetti powers which were the animal spirits that all human beings has within them. Adam wasn’t too happy with his powers since his animal spirit was a frog until Dulcea cheered him up by calling him a handsome prince. The rangers would then use their new powers to pass all of the tests the Nijetti temple had in store for them. After passing all of the challenges, they gained the Great Power which gave them their powers back along with new zords.

The rangers would use their new zords to defeat Ivan Ooze and his robots and after his defeat continued their battle against Rita and Lord Zedd. When Lord Zedd kidnapped Kimberly, Lord Zedd forced the rangers to pilot his new zords known as the Shogun and to take over the Earth. However, Billy found a way to control the zords and Tommy was able to rescue Kimberly. Shortly after, Kimberly chose Kat as her replacement in order to train for the Olympics full time which would be impossible to do as a ranger. Rita’s father, Master Vile came to help defeat the power rangers and after making the tengas stronger, Adam and the other rangers were given the metallic armor which amplified their powers. During their battle with Vile and his monsters, Vile managed to get a powerful object known as the zeo crystal and almost conquered the Earth with it’s powers. Luckily, Adam and the other rangers managed to get their hands on the zeo crystal and shattered it before teleporting the pieces through holes in time and space.

Unfortunately, Vile got the upper hand by using the Orb of Doom to turn back time which turned the rangers into children. Fortunately, the Aquitian Rangers were able to take their place as they tried to discover a way to revert back to their normal bodies. Eventually Billy made a device that could revert Adam and the other back to their original ages that was powered by the power coins. After Billy used the device to restore his youth, Rita and Zedd destroyed the power coins before the device could be used by anyone else. Since the Zeo Crystal was the only thing powerful enough to revert the Earth and the rangers back to normal, Zordon sent Adam and the other rangers back in time to retrieve the crystals. As this was happening, the Aquitian Rangers and Billy defended the Earth and made Master Vile retreat.

Adam was sent a couple of hundred years into the past of Korea where he met an old sage that helped him locate the green zeo crystal. After getting all of the pieces of the Zeo Crystal, it was used to undo what the Orb of Doom did. After getting their original bodies, the Command Center exploded after Goldar and Rito placed a bomb in its basement. Adam and the others survived, but it appeared that Zordon and Alpha died. Fortunately, the rangers quickly discovered another Power Chamber underneath the Command Center with Alpha and Zordon still alive.

However a new threat entered the scene known as the Machine Empire, which forced Rita and Zedd to retreat. Since the power coins were destroyed, the Zeo Crystal was used to create new rangers to fight off the new threat and Adam became the green zeo ranger. Adam and the rest of the rangers defeated the Machine Empire which was only replaced by Divatox who was trying to raise a powerful monster known as Maligore. To combat these new enemies, Adam and the other rangers used the Turbo powers which made Adam the green turbo ranger. Along with Justin, who replaced Rocky after an accident that incapacitated him, the rangers defeated Maligore with Divatox swearing revenge.

Adam would eventually graduate high school during his short time as a turbo ranger and became a stunt man. Adam would then retire from being a power ranger choosing Carlos, a member of his soccer team as his replacement. Despite the fact that he moved on from his life as a power ranger, he missed being a ranger. Eventually, Carlos became the black space ranger and was thinking of retiring after he accidentally heart Cassie after the monster-traded places with her mid attack. To help regain his confidence, Adam trained his successor where he revealed to Alpha 6 that he missed being a ranger and that he still had the Mastodon Power Coin which lost it’s connection to the morphing grid from Ivan Ooze’s attack on Zordon and the Command Center. The training didn’t work as it only made Carlos more frustrated and was about to quit until Astronema forces attacked which forced Adam into using the damaged power coin to morph into the black ranger. While he was morphed for a short period of time, Adam was almost killed by the unstable power. But it did help regain Carlos’ confidence. After Astronema’s forces were defeated, Adam continued his career as a stunt man.

Things seemed to be pretty normal for Adam for a while until his communicator rang. Answering the call, he and the other rangers returned to Phaedos where the Great Temple was ruined and Dulcea was found dying. She would then transfer guardianship to Adam and the other rangers before giving them a warning that something was coming. The rangers would then use the Great Power to restore their Ninjetti powers and figuring that it would be best for him to pass on his skills in martial arts to those who didn’t have the power to defend them selves, Adam made a career change from a stunt man to a martial arts instructor that ran a dojo in Angel Grove.

Eventually, Sentinel Knight contacted Adam and a few of the older rangers and asked them to replace the now powerless Overdrive Rangers. Before Adam left his dojo, he was contacted by Billy to test out the now fixed Mastodon Power Coin which was going to be given to new rangers to help fight against whatever killed Dulcea. Adam took the power coin and used it to fight the son of Zedd and Rita known as Thrax and his evil alliance. Since Adam was most senior ranger of the group, he became the leader of the team where he showed that he was a very capable leader Eventually, Adam finds Alpha 6 in pieces in a warehouse and takes him back to Andrew figuring that he Alpha 6 might be able to help restore the Overdrive Ranger’s powers.

When Thrax attacked, Adam fought him in one on one combat until the Overdive Rangers showed up along with Sentinel Knight who killed Thrax. After saying goodbye to the Overdrive Rangers, Adam returned to the dojo with Alpha 6 who assisted him at his dojo. He also returned the Mastodon Power Coin and confirmed to Billy that method he used to connect the coin backed to the morphing grid was a success before giving the coin back to Billy. A few years later, the forces of evil that was defeated over the years came back from the dead to conquer Earth. During the initial attack on earth, the Zeo Crystal was shattered and as a result, the rangers had to rely on their Ninjetti powers once again to defend the earth.
