Overview: Madison has been described as being "not right in the head." To put it in better terms, she can be a very cold person and not the easiest to get along with. The oldest of three siblings, she always had to wear the brave face and keep her negative feelings shut inside so as to not worry the little ones. After all that time keeping her emotions shut inside, they just don't show that easily or that often anymore. It takes a lot to gain her trust and see beyond the "ice queen" exterior that she projects to the rest of the world. This exterior consists of a biting sarcasm and callous, uncaring attitude.
Madison harbors a resentment and dislike of the Mystic Force Power Rangers for not helping her family and her family, something she thought they should have been more than capable of with all their powers. In fact she is known for harboring grudges against people who she feels wronged by. Forgiveness is a word that doesn't come easily to her vocabulary and is hard found if you have a reason to need it from her. It's not impossible, just very hard to get a second chance from her. And anything beyond a second chance is entirely out of the question.
All her cold exterior aside, Madison can be kind and caring. It just takes a lot of work getting under her skin. This side of her is easiest and most frequently seen if one sees her with her younger siblings. Close friends will eventually see it, but it'll take time to get to that stage. As for lovers... she doesn't have one and currently considers it out of the question. Besides, Artemis was a virgin goddess. Her opinion could be changed if the right guy came along... whoever that might be.

Overview:
Madison Dean was born in the city of Briarwood, the oldest of three children born to Joshua and Amber Dean. Her childhood was never easy. Her father lost his job shortly after the birth of her youngest sibling, her sister Olivia. It wasn't long after that they lost their house. Eventually they lost their father too. He'd been trying to find work, but it wasn't easy and his depression over everything lead him to turn to drink. One night, while drunk, he stumbled into oncoming traffic and was killed.
School hadn't been a major concern for Madison from the moment they lost their house. And after the death of her father she worried even less about it. As it was her mother was barely keeping them alive, and they had no roof over their head. Madison did the only thing she could think of. She found her own way to help. She learned to hunt, teaching herself to do so in the mystic forest and bringing whatever she could kill home to feed her family.
Madison gained her powers as the silver Artemis Ranger when she was hunting one day. She shot a doe that, as it turns out, had been carrying her crystal in its mouth. When she picked it up she was frozen at her present age and gained the powers of the Artemis Ranger. Her powers align with those of Artemis, the virgin goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, and the moon.

He'd had to ask what was happening next. It was like asking if things could possibly get worse. You didn't really want to find out the answer, but you asked all the same. You asked because you were curious. You asked because you couldn't stand not knowing. Having the question spat back in his face was the least of Blake's worries when the answer came. "Now I think we gain some information."
The things that happened next were like parts of a puzzle that wouldn't fit together well in Blake's head. None of it made sense. They didn't line up, weren't logical, but they were happening all the same.
It wasn't so much the part where he was telling them he was going to infest them. That made perfect sense. It still left Blake wondering which of the groups of yeerks this one served, because either would want the information in their heads, but it didn't confuse him. That didn't say he liked it, though. If looks could kill, his would have. His instinct would be to protect Savannah, to make sure she wasn't infested. He'd promised she'd only be infested over his dead body... but if he resisted now that would very likely be the case.
Blake didn't close his eyes, but it wasn't his turn to be infested yet. The guy didn't think he and Savannah were important enough to warrant him searching their heads. They could be infested by someone else and all their secrets would be spilled. He could wait for them. Rue, the Animorph, she was something special. Something worth getting his own hands dirty for. Blake actually felt sorry for her. It was odd, mostly because he barely knew her and had no reason to care, but as it had turned out she was on their side. If he could save her, get her back to her team, then maybe there was some hope left for humanity. Because the Animorphs were still a threat, a thorn in the yeerks' side. It wasn't something he'd have put much hope in before now... which maybe was an odd thing to say.
That was when all hell broke loose. Everything seemed to be flipped upside down as the controller began shooting his own men, began shouting for them to run. It took a few minutes for Blake to actually react, took Rue's voice to make him realize that they weren't out of the woods yet. He couldn't stand and marvel at the way things had gone topsy turvy, because he had to take advantage of it.
He grabbed Savannah's hand. "Come on, let's go!" He felt like he was practically dragging her as he took off, following Rue because they stood more chance of fighting anything that tried to stop them if they stayed a team for now. As they ran he tried to talk to Rue and Sav. "Any ideas how we get them off our tails?"
