Tom is a very good looking young man with brown hair and dark brown eyes. His slim body is very muscular from all of his martial arts training and his time fighting as a Power Ranger. Like most rangers, he wears clothes that match the color of his ranger uniform, which happens to be the color green. He normally appears to be cool and relaxed. However his dark brown eyes appear to be full of regret for what he has done under Rita’s command with a slight hint of hope for redemption and the future of his universe and the universe he’s fighting in.

Personality:

Like his counterpart, Tom wants to make amends to all of the evil things he has done as Rita’s green ranger and the leader of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Since he remembers the feelings of joy and pleasure he had killing innocents, he feels partly responsible for what he did even though it wasn’t his fault due to Rita’s spell. Being a naturally good young man, Tom always tries to do the right thing and follows his conscious. He strongly believes that martial arts should be used for self-defense and the defense of others. When it comes down to his dark past, Tom tries to push it in the back of his mind by focusing on the present and worry about the future. It is through this that he tries to move forward without being overwhelmed by guilt and greef.

As a martial artist, Tom is confident in his abilities, though not to the point of over confidence. He is also enjoys fighting competitively since it allows him to test his skills as a martial artist against those who are equal or greater in skill. He is brave in the face of danger and will stand up to the strongest of foes. As a person, Tom is very kind that always tries to do the right thing. And while he is a good leader, he'll often seek out the advise of the older team leader's when he has a leadership problem that he can't quite figure out on his own or is questioning a decision he has made as team leader. Especially now that he not the kind of person that doesn’t care about the safety and well being of most of his teammates.

History:

Like the Tommy of this universe, Tom was at one point adopted by the Olivers and separated from his brother. Since this happened at a very young age, Tom never knew that he had a brother or the reason why he was placed in the adoption agency. When Tom was 8, he started to learn martial arts since his parents wanted him to participate in a sport. The young boy feel in love with martial arts including it’s values and due to his competitive nature he looked forward to competing in martial arts tournaments to test his skills. When Tom was a teenager, he and his family moved to Angel Grove, which was threatened by the Power Rangers on a daily basis. You see, in the universe Tom grew up in, Rita was the one who found all of the dino powers coin, including the dragon power coin and the five original rangers were evil.

Shortly after he moved to Angel Grove, he entered a martial a martial arts tournament where he faced off with Jason in the finals. Their match ended in a draw, which drew the attention of Rita since she was still looking for a sixth ranger. Unfortunately, Tom was a good person at heart unlike the other rangers, so she cast a spell on him to turn him evil after she tested his combat skills with putties. She made the now evil Tom the green power ranger and gave him the sword of darkness to maintain her spell making him the strongest ranger of the six. The rangers would continue their conquest of Earth with Tom enjoying the carnage and destruction that laid in his wake. He eventually developed feelings for Kimberly, the pink ranger and the two started dating. As for his relationship with Jason, the two were bitter rivals who always tried to out do each other believing that they were the better ranger.

Feeling that he would make a better leader, Tom challenged Jason to a duel for leadership and defeated him. He would then make Kimberly his second in command since she was the only one that he trusted and under Tom’s leadership, the rangers quickly took over the Earth. However, some of the humans continued fighting after the Earth was conquered and since they used hit and run tactics, they were hard to find. Leaving these rebels to her monster, Rita had her Power Rangers conquer more planets, which included Aquitar and Triforia. Tom would then lead the team to conquer Eltar where the Phantom Ranger attacked him when he was alone. During the fight, the Phantom Ranger destroyed his Sword of Darkness with the Phantom Laser, which broke Rita’s spell.

After the spell was broken, Tom felt very guilty for what he had done and felt sick to his stomach at the fact that he actually enjoyed killing women and children while under Rita’s spell. The Phantom Ranger convinced Tom seek redemption for what he had done by fighting against Rita’s evil forces. Tom knew that he couldn’t do this alone, so he went back to Earth to seek the help of the rebels. At first the rebels weren’t sure if they could trust Tom since they didn’t believe his story. In order to gain their trust, he revealed the secret factory where putties were made. The rebels destroyed the factory, which marked their first major victory against Rita. Using Tom’s information on Rita and her army, they destroyed three key places that helped maintain control of Earth. Fearing that the humans would be able to retake Earth, she had her Power Rangers return to Earth to fight the rebels.

After the Power Rangers killed an entire rebel strike team, the rebels finally let Tom join the fight as the green ranger since it was his information that was leading them to victory. Since Jason was in charge of the team again, the reappearance of Tom only made him want to destroy Tom and the rebels more out of revenge. However, due to the rebels hit and run tactics, it was very rare for Tom and the Power Ranger to fight each other. And even though Tom was good, he still had feelings for Kimberly since she was his first love. However, the two really never had the chance to talk. One day when Tom and the rebels attacked a monster-making factory, they encountered the Power Rangers. But before they were able to fight against each other, a Rita from another universe discovered the existence of this universe. She would then use a spell to bring those evil Power Ranger to her universe by using a spell that focused on their dino coins. Since Tom had a dino coin, he was brought to that universe too. After arriving in the universe, Tom quickly escaped Rita palace and fled to Earth where he discovered an Earth that was protected by the Power Rangers.

Eventually, he encountered the Power Rangers of this universe and after explaining his situation to them, they asked Tom to lead a new group of Power Rangers that used the Dino Power Coins. Figuring that it would be best to fight against the Power Rangers from his Universe here, Tom decided to lead the new group of Power Rangers until he defeats them and finds a way back to his universe.
