OOC Emily's Symbol Power is Earth, but other than practicing the symbols, they didn't really show them using them, so I apologize for any liberties taken.
IC Emily furtively looked around as she set up her practice area in a secluded area on the beach. Thank goodness the others are the others aren't really in their element here, she thought to herself. The other Rangers were more at home in the Shiba House or the surrounding areas, but here on the beach with the wind and open space---this was her element. She was much more used to the outdoors and knew how to use it to her advantage. And that was something she'd be able to use during their fights against Xandred and their forces. Once she was sure that she was alone, she made swift strokes with her Samuraizer, and instantly a boulder appeared. With a flick of her wrist, she sent the boulder to the side, where it crashed into a wall and stopped. She made another symbol and instantly the sand came at her. She smirked as with another symbol, she instructed the sand to flow around her. A few minutes later, she laughed. No way would the others believe that I have this much control over my symbol power, she thought to herself. And that's the part of her cover that she hated, having to seem younger and inexperienced, often making mistakes. However, it was necessary. If she wanted to sell it to Xandred, she had to sell it to the other Rangers. Finally, she made the symbol that would stop the sand. Letting out another laugh, she shook out the sand that had gotten into her hair.

She needed to clear her head so she had decided to hit the beach her mind elsewhere. She had been back a few days settling in and going through a few tests she was almost ready to see the others. Her sister who she had seen months before one of them. Sighing she sat down on the beach relaxing completely as the time passed. A bit later though she was interrupted by someone laughing and she looked around knowing it from anywhere as she swallowed the lump in her throat she stood and walked towards the sound and smiled softly knowing the shock would be there.
Sure enough there was her sister who stood there using the earth symbol her old one which she had been trained as she watched for a few moments she shook her head not half bad she said gently her voice soft as she watched her eyes calm as she stepped towards her sister she was dressed in normal cloths so she wouldn’t be bothered by people when she had gone out your sister must be proud she kept her voice even as she came closer and in the gentle voice she knew her sister would know Hello Emily

Emily was still laughing when she heard the voice. "Not half bad," it said. The Yellow Ranger's jaw dropped. No way! It can't be! she thought to herself. Serena had been pulled into the past as well? How is it possible? She's not a Ranger, she thought. "Your sister must be proud," the voice continued as a figure came closer. "Serena?" she asked in surprise. Well, it looks and sounds like her, but what if it's something disguising itself as Serena? whe wondered. Well, if that was the case, she'd just have to play along. "Hello Emily," Serena greeted. "Hey!" she exclaimed] dashing foward. "I don't believe this! You got pulled into the past too?" she asked, as she acted as if she was going to wrap the other girl into a hug. If it's not really Serena, it'll be good to see how far it'll go and if it actually is Serena, she'll be hurt if she thinks I'm not happy to see her, she thought to herself. No matter what...she'd be ready.

she watched as her sister watched her and smiled lightly and caught her sister and hugged her close kissing both of her cheeks I’ve missed you she said her voice soft as she held her sister. God how long had it been and her sister looked good more than one could have hoped when it came to being a ranger when they had not really trained her and she had been thrown in at the last moment I can’t believe how good you looked out there…you may actually be better than me with earth she grinned and brushed the sand from her sisters hair gently.
She didn’t want the powers back they were her sisters and from what she had seen they were in good hands. Giving herself some room she paused yes…Zordon briefed me a few days ago it has just been settling down and getting used to things she said and shrugged softly as she looked towards the water and then walked over putting her feet in the water she sighed softly I’m in remission…I don’t look that awful do I? she asked after a moment.
She had always worried about when she had come out that she would be a mess. She had been able to grow most of her hair back from the chemo that had taken that from her but it was still short for her. Closing her eyes she paused how are the others? I hope they have not been to rough on you concern held her voice as she spoke her sister was fresh compared to the others and that had always been her greatest fear they would push her to fast to soon.

"I've missed you," Serena said, kissing Emily on both cheeks. "I can't believe how good you looked out there...you may actually be better than me with Earth," Serena said, brushing the sand from her hair. Well, if it's not Serena, they've certainly done their homework on how she acts, she thought to herself. "Really? You think so?" she asked. I want this to be Serena. Please be Serena, she thought to herself. "Yes...Zordon briefed me a few days ago. It has just been settling down and getting used to things." Emily's eyebrows furrowed. Zordon? Then, she remembered meeting the being. "I'm in remission...I don't look that awful do I?" she asked a little bit later. "No, you look great. Can't even tell," she answered truthfully, gesturing to the other girl's hair. They had all kept Serena's cancer a scret from everyboy but the Shiba House. If this was a monster or Mooger in disguise, it wouldn't know what she was talking about. "How are the others? I hope they have not been too rough on you," the girl said. "They're good. I'm really learning a lot from them," she responded. More than they know, she thought to herself. But she wasn't going to say anything just yet. She didn't want to tip her hand just yet...just in case...

She could tell her sister was unsure as she paused at the water her eyes on the water mom and dad send their love…they say stay safe…they miss you she said after a moment as she walked deeper into the water her eyes on the water. She had missed the best things in life as she paused and looked down at the water do you remember when we were young and we went to the beach? Dad started to dance when a crab got in his suit she smiled at the memory as she turned to face her sister.
The days before cancer had taken it from the two they had been close. even now as she paused and glanced around before she removed her shirt revealing a suit she dove into the water coming up she sighed quietly maybe when things get done here we will be able to have normal lives she admitted as she as she looked at her and paused. Her sister had that until she had been sick she paused as she swallowed slightly I’m proud of you she admitted and grinned

"Mom and dad send their love...they say stay safe...they miss you," Serena said after a moment. Emily smiled softly. "I miss them too. And...other people," she admitted. There's no need to add that I've e-mailed Coy before from the Shiba House. If it's one of Xandred's warriors, he could be placed in danger, and if it's really Serena, she'd be so disappointed in me, she thought to herself. "Do you remember when we were young and went to the beach? Dad started to dance when a crab got in his suit," Serena recalled and Emily laughed, her eyes sparkling. There was no way Xandred or one of his minions would've known that. This was Serena! "Yeah, and Mom started screaming her head off," she added. There was a pause as the other girl removed her shirt to reveal a swimsuit underneath. The Yellow Ranger watched as the other girl dove into the water. Concerned, Emily followed her. Was she strong enough to do this? "Maybe when things get done here, we will be able to have normal lives," she said. "I hope so. I mean, being a Ranger's great and all, but I can definitely think of a million other things I'd rather do," she responded with a laugh. Like run off with Coy, she thought to herself. And that was the worst thing about being in the past---not being able to talk with Coy like she wanted to. Not that she could say that to any of the others. They wouldn't understand. "I'm proud of you," Serena admitted. "Thanks," Emily responded. "At first I wasn't sure I was up for it. I mean, I know I helped you train and everything, but I was never as dedicated as you. You've been big shoes to fill, but I've been doing my best," she continued. Then, unseen, she made the water symbol with her Samuraizer, and a small wave rushed at Serena.
