Newtech City is an urban area that looks like any other city except that humans and aliens live together peacefully…for the most part. As with any city, there is crime and that’s when Space Patrol Delta, otherwise known as SPD, comes in to take care of things.

Jack Landers

Red SPD Ranger
about this character: Before becoming a Ranger, Jack was a street kid, stealing food to survive and to help others like him. His only true friend on the streets was a girl named Z, and together, they both wanted to make a difference. Eventually, they would have a run-in with Space Patrol Delta, a local police force, and Jack would use his power of phasing to make his escape. He and Z were soon recruited to become Rangers and he was given the Morpher of the Red Ranger. After a shaky start and clashing with Sky the Blue Ranger, Jack grew into his position and lead his team confidently. Though he has a bit of a rough exterior, but is actually kind-hearted.

Schyular "Sky" Tate

Blue SPD Ranger
about this character: The son of a legendary Red Ranger who had been killed in action, Sky longed for the day that he could join A Squad as the Red Ranger and follow in his father’s footsteps. He trained hard and excelled in every area of training, even using his force field. When A Squad went missing, Commander Crueger gave B Squad their own Morphers and told to defend Newtech City. To Sky’s dismay, he would receive the Blue Morpher, and tried to get the Commander to change his mind. However, the Commander’s decision was final. Sky had a hard time accepting the Blue Morpher and even clashed with the Red Ranger, Jack, on occasion. Eventually though, Sky accepted his role as Blue Ranger and learned to follow orders.

Sydney “Syd” Drew

Pink SPD Ranger
about this character: Syd is the princess of the group, bubbly and perky, and a bit shallow, but is wholly dedicated to her role as the Pink Ranger. With a fist that can be made as hard as diamonds or iron, she is able to punch through just about anything. Though they are as different as night as day, she seems to share a really good friendship with Sky, whom she seems to understand better than the others do.

Bridge Carson

Green SPD Ranger
about this character: Bridge is the quirky one of the group, prone to ramble or go off topic with ridiculous questions. He has a habit of wiggling his fingers when saying the word “buttery”, something he apparently has no control over. He has the ability to “read” other people’s auras, which allowed him to see that there was something off about A Squad. As the Green Ranger, Bridge definitely brings a sense of fun to the team, though he’s incredibly serious about protecting Newtech City.

Elizabeth “Z” Delgado

Yellow SPD Ranger
about this character: Like Jack, before she was recruited by Commander Crueger, she was a street kid who stole to survive and to help others like them. Jack was her only friend on the streets and they always had each other’s backs. They would eventually have a run in with SPD and she used her ability to multiply to gain the upper hand before taking off. Wanting to do something bigger and better with her life, she was more eager than Jack to become a member of SPD and found a good friend in Syd.

Anubis “Doggie” Crueger

Mentor, Shadow Ranger
about this character: Commander Anubis Crueger is in charge of Space Patrol Delta. When he had to make the decision of giving Morphers to certain cadets, he chose three: Sky, Syd, and Bridge, as well as two street kids: Jack and Z. Though impressed with Sky’s training performance, Crueger recognized that his attitude wasn’t conducive with being a successful leader and instead gave the boy the Blue Morpher. He would later join the Rangers in their fight as the Shadow Ranger.

Sam

Omega Ranger
about this character: Sam first met the Rangers when he was a little boy and befriended them, even as he was unknowingly being manipulated by Mora. The treachery would soon be revealed and he was quickly rescued. In the future, Sam would become the Omega Ranger and then travel back to SPD’s present to give them a hand.
