about this character: the son of Andrew Hartford, Mac longed to join his father on his adventures, often reading adventure stories. He would soon get his wish as the Red Overdrive Ranger with the addition of superhuman strength. However, his excitement would soon be dampened by the discovery that he was an android created by Andrew who had always wanted a son but never had time for the dating scene. After several instances of putting himself in danger because he thought he wasn’t as valuable as a human, Mack finally calmed down and regained his focus to lead the team.
