He smiled and nodded to her. When she left to get the drinks he looked over the meats. The way things were set up in this time made things much easier. Finding the right piece of meat was fairly easy. He had picked a nice beautiful beef roast. With it wrapped and sitting in the cart. He had picked up some bread and spices since they were nearby as well. When she returned he helped her with the drinks. At the mention of candy he arched a brow at her. He wasn't sure what that was and most likely it was something he had never had. So this was going to be very interesting indeed. So he followed beside her when she went to the candy isle.

Artemis made her way over to the candy isle and grabbed a bag of sour butterflies, sweet strawberry shaped candy and a bar of white chocolate. Looking at Killian she showed him a bag of all kinds of colorful smiley sweets.
this is candy, its sweet and unhealthy but delicous at its own time. she said friendly and wondered what he thought of it. Artemis felt like a child, she was never allowed to buy candy and now she exactly knew what she liked.
Grabbing a back of skittles and a cup of jellybeans she was finished with the candy though she wondered what Killian thought of it.

He looked at what she picked up. Scrunching up his eyes as he thought over what he was looking at and processing what she told him about candy. It sounded like a pleasure that one indulged in for the delight of it. Though the chocolate and the jelly beans as they were called sparked his interest. Looking over the large selection he smiled and pointed out a hershey with almonds bar, and the worthers original caramel hard candies and like her a small thing of jelly beans. His arched brow was questioning as he spoke. He was much like a kid indeed right now because of the newness of this time. " May I? "

Artemis watched Killian close, candy was something different, even for his time, so she was just curious as he started to take bags and things and she just giggled and smiled. Soon Killians eyes fell on jelly beans and a candy bar and walking over to him she took both and looked at him with a naughty smile.
After dinner. she winked and placed them in the cart. Looking at everything she nodded. I think we got it all. she nodded.

He smiled as she took the few things he wanted to try and tossed them into the shopping cart. That smile she gave him caused him to shake his head and smile at her. " Those kind of smiles often lead to much trouble. Be careful that it doesn't get you into trouble later. " If she knew it or not, but she was getting him riled up with such simple things. Something no woman had ever done since he was in his own time and in his early days of being a guardian. But he nodded at the last with a smiled. " That's all. let us get out of here so I can thank you properly. " He walked beside her as they made there way to the nearest checkout lane.
